I agree, if your 5'4" and have no hands you probably don't catch that one.

J-Mac barely leapt into the air, Had his hands on it, and it went right through them.

If that was Coles or Cotch in the same spot, do you think either one of them drops it?

Stuckey would have caught that second ball.

But that play should have been called for Baker.

bad decision by the CS to go back to Stone Hands, in that spot.

OK, nobody on this entire site has interpreted that final play correctly yet. That last pass, the one that hit McCareins in the hands and bounced into Ray Lewis' arms, WAS NOT A PASS TO JUSTIN MCCAREINS. It was a pass to Jericho Cotchery who was open in the back of the endzone just behind and to the right of Ray Lewis. It was "too high, too hard" for J-Mac because THE MOTHER FLIPPING BALL WASN'T INTENDED FOR J-MAC! Lanky douchebag just happened to cut his route short and make an excellent cornerback play to prevent a sure touchdown to Jericho.

I agree, and both could have probably been caught by the grocery store clerk in the nearest Super Fresh......

Does anyone have contract details on McCareins? When was the deal signed and what was the structure of the contract? I would like to see how soon we can dump this cancer.

well i believe it was me that told ya Clemens loved to throw to McCariens..I bet after that horrible display of how NOT to play WR in the NFL, he will not get looked at too much...

And regardless if that ball was thrown to him or not, it was in his hands and as a 6' 4" receiver you need to make that catch

One drop would be bad, but two is to much. I actually thought that he would have played an important role given his great preseason, but I guess he is the same old McCarreins, costing us games as usual...

he was responsible for that 108yd KR TD by ellis hobbs as well. so we basically lost 2 games because of him

One of those classic "It made sense at the time" trades that blew up in the Jets face.

That's absolute BS.... The second one wasn't perfectly thrown. It was high, to the side and not a ball that should have been caught. Clemens fired that.

I don't think either catches it and I am big fans of both guys. That was a very tough throw to handle and i'm not blaming Clemens, cause that's where he had to throw it but that's not a real catchable pass.... Could it been caught? Maybe, but not really one that should have been caught. And i'm not sticking up for J Mac in that the first drop was ridiculous.

Dropping him or benching him are the only logical steps we can take after a dismal performance in the red zone. It's heart and stomach wrenching to even think about the drops he had. It wasn't even as if he thought he was going to get killed by Ed Reed while crossing the field; he simply couldn't come through in the clutch and thus makes him disposable and replaceable.

I pray we don't see him on Sunday vs. Miami. Plus I think Coles was more upset compared to that smiling phuck after the game.

Dude, are you serious? Youtube it or somehow get the first drop online. He has about 2 yards of seperation on the defender and it hit BOTH of his hands at the 5 yard line. Coles OR Cotchery and we have 6. Obviously we can't prove that, but our chances of tying that game are substantially greater with one of those two having such a pass.
