I'm one of the biggest Chad Cheerleaders in the world, and I'm not celebrating this loss. Even if I wanted to see Clemens do poorly, he didn't. He almost led a miraculous comeback against the best defense in the league. Plus, I root for whoever is quarterbacking the Jets, even though I would much rather it be Pennington. And I would never celebrate a Jets loss.

I'm a Chad supporter, but I'm crushed from this loss, and I like what I've seen from Kellen. I think we may have our QB of the future. And he will unseat Chad when Coach Mangini sees fit.

If anything, in my view, Kellen showed today that he should be THE GUY. In the fourth quarter when it mattered he was as good as Chad has ever been and if not for aliigator arms we may have come back from 17 against the one of the top 3 defenses in football. Chad should have started his last game at QB for us last week.

    I'm with you.

I said all last week, when it's time for Kellen to start a game, he's got my support. And he did today.

I admit, I wasn't liking what Kellen was doing throughout the game early on, but from late in the 3rd to the whole 4th quarter, he got on my good side. He matured a great deal in the 2nd half. You can see that based on stats and just by looking at his presence on the field. He was playing more heads up in the second half.

I may root for Chad, but I don't root against Clemens. I don't think he won the job today... but he hung in there against a tough Defense and certainly keeps the "controversy" going. Which.. in many ways.. is a good thing. Knowing we have two capable quarterbacks is a nice kind of problem. As long as we don't let our banter here turn into cheering an injury again!!!

I'm a Chad supporter and I'm not celebrating this loss or the fact that Clemens looked very poor for three quarters and very good for one. The JETS needed a win and Clemens did enough to get it if McCariens could catch the ball. Pennington played as well (or better) against the PATS tough defense in week one. Our defense in week one did not give Chad the same opportunity that Clemens was given today - they couldn't even slow the PATS. The RAVENS are not the offensive jugernaut the PATS are.
Chad should be the starter - but I feel good about the JETS future as Clemens seems to be developing into a good QB. Until our OL makes some improvement and we get a quality 3rd receiver we aren't going to win many games regardless of who plays QB - In fact with the number of sacks we are giving up, we may cost one of them their career.
    Let's look at the stats:
    Pennington against the PATS:
    16 of 21 76.2% 167 yards 8 yards per attempt 2TD 0int 130.5 QB rating
    Clemens against PATS:
    5 of 10 50% 35 yards 3.5 yards per attempt 0TD 0int 58.3 QB rating
    Clemens against RAVENS:
    19 of 37 51.4% 260 yards 7 yards per attempt 1TD 2int 60.6 QB rating

Chad gives us the best chance to win. While Clemens did well against a very good defense, his numbers are proof he still has some way to go.

God, I HATE QB rating as the be all and end all stat for QBs. Kellen's QB rating has NO RELEVANCE whatsover to his performance. He did things that CHad cannot do, and in the 4th quarter played as well as Chad ever has.All Chad can do is dink and dunk which pads the QB rating but does not really measure everything a QB can do. Kellen needs to start from now on.

I am a big Chad fan and I KNOW we are better when he plays but I dn't care who plays as long as we win. I wanted the comeback to be complete yesterday and I want KC to have success when he plays. W/ that said KC was brutal for 3 qtrs w/ alot of mistakes from inexperience that Chad wouldn't have had so we most likely win that game yesterday w/ Chad at QB.

Agreed. No one on this board is a biggger fan of Chad but I tell you I was pulling for KC all night. I think Chad could have held us together longer in the first half and given us a real chance to win, that late Ravens drive in the 2nd quarter was a killer.

I really don't think too many fans are celebrating this loss. I'm a Chad fan too, but the kid withstood a shaky start and was 2 J-Mac drops away from getting the game tied.
