I know CP really wants to play, I felt so bad for him when he was trying to get off the field after hurting his ankle and he threw his helmet. He's just fragile. Lets hope he doesn't push it.
I support Chad, however, I rather him not play in this game. It's been said he was still gimpy on Fridays practice, so I rather just see Clemens today, and Clemens only. Give Chad the rest until the Miami game next week.
Some one is getting blown on ESPN news? I know sports center has literally "sucked" for many years now but this is taking that to a whole new level.
That did not stop him from going down in 2005 the week after he actually reinjured his shoulder against Jacksonville. If you're hurt going in to the game is a sure way to get hurt worse. I'm seeing one golden lining from all of this though: Chad obviously thinks Clemens could come in and take the job.
Sorry, my brainfart. The injury was on the sack on the first drive when he got sandwiched on the 3. He came back into the game hurt and blew the shoulder out scrambling after that.
WABC is reporting that Pennington is starting but the players have no idea who it's going to be at this point. Chad is out on the field doing a normal warm-up and he doesn't seem to be hurt
I don't really even remember that either, though I could be wrong. I think the injury happened on one play. He got hurt, came out, and came back in and finished the game but the injury had already occurred.
