I think its fair, you didn't really think they'd suspend Belli do you? and a forfiet was never an option. this is acceptable punishment
Good for you! You can hate the Pats, that's fine. But you all wishing for the commish to annihilate the Pats organization is absurd. I think other teams will look at the punishment and say, "We don't want to suffer that, so we better not do it." Mission accomplished. The NFL is not in the business of destroying organizations to benefit Jets fans or any other less successful club.
Lets be clear. A Coach got suspended 4 Games for giving a player HGH. Belichick gets caught cheating Definitely once, probably MULTIPLE times. A Small fine.

We gave them a first round pick this year, for theirs next year. We still have that pick, which will be higher than the one we lost anyway. Hell, we got Randy Moss for a 4th....we will be fine, but thanks for your concern.

No. It doesn't. If the Pats were the only ones that did it, they would have been called on it long ago. Most teams just send security to remove the camera guy. Why is that? Noone wanted to open this can of worms, that's why. I am not so naive as to think that other teams don't do it as well. Furthermore, by this time next year, the defenses will have mikes, which is what Bill Belichick wanted in the first place.....so it's all good.
