On break now. They said before the break that they wanted to move on, but the last two callers were about the scandal... Meanwhile, this is all over the regular news, not just sports channels. Charlie Gibson mentioned it last night on the regular ABC-TV news and the Fox Channel has it as part of their regular news... this thing has legs....
I'm surprised there isn't a hoard of media and cameras on the front step of this video assistant Matt Estrella's house. Has anyone seeen anything to this effect? Or perhaps Belly or Kraft have sent him to sleep with the fishes by now. Also, I'm sure some intrepid report can find an ex Patriot defensive player or two that left on bad terms (Ted Johnson?) who could be coaxed into going on the record to say how the Patriots used this illiegal survelance in super bowls/playoff victories. Losing picks is probably not that strong of a message. How about: 1. Banning Bellichik for at least 2 years 2. Losing the 2008,2009,2010 1st round picks 3. Forfeiting the Week 1 win 4. Forfeiting the division for at LEAST this year. Best record of Jets,Bills,Phins goes to the playoffs. If anyone got screwed the most from this(other than the Superbowl opponents) its the division rivals because we had to play them twice a year. That might hit the bottom dollar somewhat!
