McNair is has already left the Bal game due to a hit earlier in the game. Mods: I post this in this forum since the Jets play Balt next week.
He hurt his groin - he left the game for good towards the end of the 4th quarter. I'm pretty sure Billick just took him out because he was playing like a bum though. Boller now has a chance to take over.
The title is misleading. There's no news as of yet whether he'll play next week or not. And knowing McNair, it'll take something dramatic, like his groin exploding, in order to force him to miss time.
I'll put my faith in Mangini & Co. until proven otherwise. I will note we are playing vs. McGahee, who used to smoke the Jets as a Bill. Hopefully, his new confines change his performance vs. us.
Agreed , Mcnair will play just like Chad will play! these are the corner stones of their teams. We better be watching film of the Bengals game to see how to bottle up the running back! They did a decent job of it.
Hopefully since cincy took out the ravens offensive line for us, we will be able to stop McGahee to some degree, and put pressure on whichever qb plays.
steve mcnoodle looked terrible. i would rather face him instead of boller who made some great throws yesterday and in the preseason
Actually, it looked like McNair took himself out of the game. After going out on downs, he walked over to the bench, said something to Boller, and Boller put on his helmet and started warming up. So if McNair did in fact pull himself(on a potentially game winning drive), I wolud be surprised to see him play this sunday.
The problem here is that Boller torched us last time we faced him. Maybe the best game of his career. Raven win @ the swamp.
