Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports the New York Jets tried to sign free-agent CB Aaron Glenn (Cowboys), but Glenn decided to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

even though we have dyson, revis, miller and barrett. maybe they're really trying to trade dyson or barrett, i don't know.

I think he is still a very solid backup CB/Nickelback. He might not be the fastest or biggest corner, but he's extremely smart. I saw Roy Williams on Total Access yesterday and he was extremely pissed that the Cowboys released Glenn.

Sometimes these guys just have to realize when its time to retire.
Cowboys were right to release him. He is the 5th CB in Jacksonville now.
Its time to see about coaching Aaron.

He was the best punt/KO returner in the nation coming out of college but for the Jets he kept putting the ball on the ground. go figure.

100% agreed. I had no idea they were pursuing him. Would have loved it if they made it happen.

Actually, we have Dyson, Revis, Miller, Barrett, Coleman, and Poteat. Maybe they thought he was a better 6th CB than Poteat. Obviously they weren't willing to pay too much for him. No biggie either way.

I woulda loved Glenn back here, one of my all time faves... Why in blazes would he prefer Jax than us??

  13. Beyond Rashean Mathis and Tye Hill, they don't have much depth...which means more potential PT.

I'm surprised he didn't want to come back.
