Peter King's top 500 current NFL players, Kerry Rhodes number 29.

I know I will get bashed for this, and maybe rightfully so. Every Jet fan sees Kerry Rhodes as their own star, and they will fight that to the death. I personally think he's being overrated right now, and it seems like jumping on the Rhodes bandwaggon is the popular thing to do for many publications/journalists. Now, I didn't say Rhodes himself was overrated, and I think he is a Top 10 Safety at this point. With that said, I think he needs another great year to be considered the #29 best player in the league. He is on the verge of greatness, but I don't think he is great yet. Last year was impressive, but he's yet to prove (and hasn't had the time to yet) that he is a consistent stud year in and year out. I think he is, but now he has to prove that he has the consistency, reliability, and longevity which separates the very good from the great.

the scary thing is that rhodes is the only jet in the top 100, and i think that might be accurate.

lots of jets out there, did i miss CP? i dunno but revis is on there as is Harris, um i dunno if i agree with Dbrick being so high, and IMO after last season, Dyson should be higher than 475, but hey hes hurt and getting up in age...
