If its for a 4th or 5th round pick, the skins are crazy. They just through draft picks around like they are nothing.
Another great move by our front office.

Now the problem at hand. Who starts at LG?

  3. Which is why getting a 4th for Kendall..and allowing a prospect to develop in the starting line-up are very good things.

Sonic....U for real. You thought that highly of Kendall ??? Kendall played very well the 1st season he was here. But I've found his play declined every season since.

Actually....This makes 2 spots open. The active roster & the practice squad.

Curious though...wouldn't doing that give other said GM's a compelling reason to hold on to the lineman that has the potential to be cut? Kind of like showing your hand.

2009?!?!!? That can't be accurate. There is no way we'd give up Kendall for a pick that we won't get for another two seasons. That sounds ridiculous.

Actually...Thats maybe why the pick was higher. Sounds good to me. Pats' have 2 #1 picks every years for the past 2 or 3 yrs & have 2 more 1st round picks next year.

The Jets are hardly a trading partner with the skins. We lost Coles, Morton, Hall and Randy Thomas to the skins through free agancy if my memory serves me corectly. We did trade for ramsey and coles but I do not see this relationship as being one of partnering. If we were going to get rid of kendall at least it is out of our division. Since we have to play the skins this year I hope we run over his butt.

well i guess the jets got what they want and kendall got what he wants. i dont agree with the trade i think we needed kendall on the line this year but hey thats just my opinion. getting a 4th rd pick was a plus we can always use picks but draft picks cant ever replace OL exp. and thats what we just gave up today.

Ditto. The Jets and Kendall were at a point of no return. I guess in the end the Jets just brought him to camp to wait out the process of seeing which teams lost starting guards and needed help. Given that they actually got him traded to the NFC I'll give them some reasonable marks for the way they handled it, but no A's. Anytime something becomes this protracted and bitter it's a mark on the downside on a teams ledger.

    It should be a third.

Above average starter, under contract for three years..

Jets' have 3 weeks to get both lines OL & DL together. I think that's enough time. Its' not like there going to beat Pats' & Ravens anyway. So really they have 5 weeks to get things righted.

Haven't you ripped me? Who the heck are you? Wow, you ripped me. Chad couldn't throw a ball 10 yards with a 50 mile per hour wind at his back, who are you fooling. But go along and overrate some draft pick (not even a 2008 pick). Gives you 15 extra minutes to stand up at the draft with your Jet Plane hard hat on, making the rest of us Jet fans look ridiculous. No big deal.

Yeah, alright. And a first rounder also. C'mon. Obviously they are saying a 4th OR A 5TH.

Out of our division? It's out of our conference which is even better.

Clarke is horrible. He isn't on the same planet as Kendall at this point of his career.
