Martin are you sure that you aren't a pre-teen? This whole time I had you pegged for a kid around 12 years old, just based upon your posts.

You mean the nonstop Barry Bonds coverage, Linda Cohn and "Who's Now?" didn't already do it?

Not for your benefit. You're "officially" suspended. Read the rules.

If you're a Jets fan you should be used to it by now. I thought it was kind of funny when there was Quinn, Russell, and Revis left unsigned and they went in to their discussions of contracts and impacts on their teams and whatnot.. and then when it came to Revis,.. "and of course the 14th pick by the New York Jets, Derrelle Revis." /roll credits. It sounded almost intentional.. but he is a cb and not a qb. I doubt espn would say anything of value even if they did talk about the Jets, so it really doesn't bother me.

Precisely. I wouldve been upset about the Jets not getting covered at one time, but now that they don't actually cover sports anymore, its pretty much business as usual. The channel has become, with few exceptions, a complete waste of time.

Who the hell made that rule? Actually that's one of the few things i don't like about going to games. Believe it or not it's worse than yankee stadium during a bad game. I honestly think it should be the adults that should realize that this is a somewhat family environment. But when people had a little too much monkey piss to drink, i guess theres nothing you can do.

Well put. That's how ESPN works....and every other major media outlet outside of New York. It's not like ESPN hates the Jets (trust me...I work there). But they cover the teams that are going to get the most attention. Sure its a big deal that Revis got sign for us. But its a bigger deal that the #1 pick in the draft still is unsigned. And it was a bigger deal that Quinn was unsigned. He did far father than Revis, but he was a much bigger name....and a QB. At times, he has been projected as a top 3 QB. Those two factors are why he got more attention.

I hear what your saying but like others have said i dont mind that we dont get much coverage, people dont talk about the Jets much but we will just go out and perform on the field. They might not talk about Revis now but they sure as hell will when he intercepts Brady and returns it for a TD to win the game :)

me too. I love it when like in 02 Salisbury the jackass called the Jets pretenders that will not make the Playoffs. then we go kill Indy 41-0.

Hopefully the reason we get lil to no press on ESPN is because we aren't a drama team. Well, now that I think of it we have had our fair share hahaha. But the repetitiousness of ESPN is so nauseating. Thank god for NFL Network

No coverage, no respect, that?s par for the course my man. Even during our super bowl run they would highlight our achievements with a side note of our past failures. It?s the Jets! Hate to sound like Champ but we have fallen short for a long time and every time we have that significant moment...Here they come with the negative. You are who you are until you prove them wrong. 07-08

I think every fanbase of every sport thinks ESPN hates their team.

Way better. There's really no use for ESPN on Sunday nights anymore.

I dont really use ESPN for any of my sport talk, for me going to ESPN for balanced sport news is similar to going to Fox News for balanced News.

No way. ESPN has consistently given reach-arounds to The Pats. Remember that god awful Stephen A. Smith Show Ad from a few seasons ago? "They still got Tom Brady". I had to change the channel whenever it came on. I'm glad they canceled his ass.

That's basically it right there. ESPN is like the TV version of our lazy-ass beat writers. Unless you have an 'inside source' feeding information to Lightbulb Clayton or Barney Rubble Mortenson, you don't get reported on ESPN. I'd actually prefer they don't say squat to a digital toilet bowl like ESPN.

ESPN is annoying with their daily Patriot handjobs..but what's really been pissing me off lately is The Sporting News. Everytime I sit down with that for a good BM I end up getting up irritated and unfulfilled.

How possibly can they not include Chad in the Top 25 QBS, and even WORSE not include LC in the Top 25 WRs???

It just doesn't make any sense. JP Losman > Chad?? cmon now. Leading your team to the playoffs from the AFC East must have some merit.
