7/7 7:10 PM: Oliver Perez vs. Buddy Carlyle
7/8 7:10 PM: El Duque vs. John Smoltz
7/9 12:10 PM: John Maine vs. Tim Hudson

We've lost 6 of 9 to the Braves, but at least Perez is starting tonight. He's the one who started in all the three wins (3-0, 1.31 ERA vs. Atlanta this season). Hoping we can get 2 of 3.

I'll be at the game tonight.

Hernandez/Smoltz and Maine/Hudson are damn good matchups.

getting to be crunch time. It would be nice to beat these bastards in a series for once this year and start getting some breathing room.

I might even watch some of these games. That's pretty good for me for August baseball.

I rarely watch Yankees games until the playoffs, but it doesn't mean I don't know what is going on.

This is not looking so great so far.

And now Reyes screws up the foul popup.

Oh definitely. They're down 2 runs in the 2nd inning of the 1st game; they have no chance for the series at all.

So far, it definetly looks like the Braves own the Mets. I just don't understand why that is, but the Mets always bitchup when they play the Braves...

I don't know about you, but it sure feels like a sweep is not far off.

I just don't think it's worth it to jump to conclusions. If we jumped out to an early lead, I don't think anyone would would be clamoring for a sweep, so why is the opposite true?

On the other hand, Perez is sucking big time. Not cool, Ollie, not cool.

Is anyone even slightly surprised that Perez gave up a HR after the two bloop hits? And Keith called it, too.
