    1 Detriot- win
    2 at Denver - Loss
    3 Browns - win
    4. Miami- win
    5 Bye
6.At chargers Win Raiders play them alot better in their house and should have beaten them last year.
    7 Chiefs win
    8 Titans- win
    9Texans - win
    10 Bears - win
    11 Vikings win
    12-at KC- Loss
    13. Denver- loss
    14- Greenbay- win
    15Colts - loss
    16 Jaguars Loss

So I see raiders being 10-6 next year. Obviously there are going to be some upsets both ways.

The funniness happens when you realize how low raiderjeaux's expectations must truly be not to be predicting a Super Bowl. 10-6? This is a broken man.

 You have them playing three road games. jeaux, the cold harsh reality is eight. if they had 13 home games, they could actually finish .500!

No when you making predictions you have to leave your heart out of the equation. This prediction was made by examining alot of data and go over all teams roster,(strengths and weakness) to try to formulate my opinion.

Raiders have a great chance to win 10games. for these reason 1. Defense was very good last year, but has a chance to be alot better next season.(that defense good enough to win alot of games by itself) 2 Coaching- Much better schemes and offensive Philosphy. 3. Return of Raiders two starting wrs(J Porter and R Curry) In Fact you could make Raiders didn't play with there three top Wrs, for most of the year. R moss- head was somewhere else . J Porter- inactivated for pretty much the whole year as he was in shells doghouse.
R curry- Raiders were just take it slow with him coming back from second achilles injury. Your top wrs missed as much time and any offense going to suffer.
4 Severly upgraded the TE and FB position- make them an allroundf better offense
    5. Because I say it will happen.

If history has taught us anything, don't count your chickens, till they hatch.
Now aren't you going to feel a little stupid, when I throw this prediction in your face, after the 2007 season is complete.

It's probably going to take 2-3 seasons for the Raiders to accumulate 10 wins. They have some weapons on O but it's going to take time for the QB to develop, MAYBE you guys are ready for playoff contention next year if he develops quickly but more than likely it will be 2009. You guys will go as fas as the running game takes since you have 2 decent backs but if you can't pass it's going to be more difficult to run and you'll have troube scoring points again.

Jmo Not going to take that long.
People are just underrating how bad Raiders offensive coaching was last year, and how poorly design the offense scheme was. I expect to see big improvement in offense with Kiffin running it. (he has alot of pieces already that are good fit for his offense- hybrid WCO) All the offense has to be is average, and with raiders defense(should be alot better) they are going to win alot of games.

The WCo offense going to take alot of pressure off the oline.(olineman don't have to block as long) The RBs will be a big part of the offense, not only in running game but in passing game. Throwing alot to RBs and to a TE(Zach Miller- very surehanded TE) takes alot of the pressure off the QB.
Unlike last year they have WRs that will go over the Middle(R curry and J Porter)
Raiders have a good chance to suprise everyone in the NFl this year except me.

Be very careful overrating the Raiders D. yes they played great last year BUT teams were very conservative against them knowing all they had to do was not turn it over and they'd win plus you have a ery young coach who has never even coached in this league. His Dad is a great DC but he still hasn't been a HC at the college level or coordinatior at the NFL level so it will take him some time to adjust.

...I'm pretty sure this guy is Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid.

"even blind squirrels find nuts" and "don't count your chickens, till they hatch" just remind me of sometime that little old man would say.

If history has taught us anything is that Jeaux's predictions, however rare, is occasionally right. Now I'm not going to agree with 10-6 prediction for the Raiders. But just by dropping Art Shell they should win 5 games this year.

No one overrating raiders defense. Its going to be one of the best defenses in all of football next year. Raiders added alot to that defense and the
simple maturation OF Thomas Howard and Michael Huff. Both of those players were good last year, but scary part is watch how much better both are with a year under their belt. (they are rare special players) Rob Ryan (Raiders DC) has so much now at his disposal on defense,
to play around with. Can be real creative .

Lane Kiffin going to be fine as he grew up around football his whole life. Wise beyond his years.
He had the chance to test his offense schemes against two of the
best defensive minds. Monte Kiffin and Pete Carrol. Kiffin has another very good defensive mind Rob Ryan to test his schemes.. Both of them,in minicamp have had a chess match on football field ,as both have had
there respective units, trying to embarrass the other unit. (not only players competing, but so are the coaches)

Al Davis has given this Kid more power than any coach he
ever has. That tells you Kid knows his X and O's. Kiffin going to call all the plays. It his offense. The Prodigy knows what he doing, and look for offense to improve alot this year.
