K Morrison can only control one side of the field. defense. He has no control over the offense. Raiders defense was good last year, but it has a chance to be special. (only going to get better with time) I disagree every week raiders defense played a meaningful game. To be on field as long as they were, (thanks offense) and still be able to rank that high. Speaks volumes about how they went out and handle their business.

J Miller won't even beat out Chris carr this year. You see how much Yards C Carr had last year. More attempts and good chance your average is not going to be as high. 25.5 Chris carr is a better cover Cb than Justin miller too.(reason why they drafted J miller that high)

The Raiders LB that could eventually be the best cover LB in the Nfl, is Thomas Howard. The guy looks like a CB in coverage. Ask L Tomlinson about thomas Howard Coverage abilty. Thomas Howard and Kirk morison are four down lbs. (they can play against run and the pass) Even way down the depth charts Raiders have brought in alot of speed and Lbs that can cover. Kyle Shotwell and Kurt campbell( was a cb in college)

K Morrison and the rest of the Raiders lbs are the biggest reason the raiders defense has improved alot. (he is the leader of the defense) No Kirk Morrison family has been long time Raiders fans, and season ticket holders. Way before K morrison ever put on the best looking Jersey. Last year Raiders didn't have any of there top WRs, R Moss- wasn't evenm trying, J Porter- inactivated shell doghouse and R curry- raiders were taking it slow withn coming back from achuilles tear. dude stop making it look like your amazing defense was out there all the time. i think you are seeing things that dont even exist. your defense was out there for 986 total plays last season (ranked 12th). you had the best pass defense not because your defense is so amazing, its just that nobody threw the ball against you guys. after the 1st quarter you guys were already behind 20+ points. teams did not try to go vertical on you. those teams sometimes even benched some of their starters. guys like gore, LT, LJ and the list goes on. your team wasnt competitive. at all. the only thing that kept LT, LJ, Jackson, Gore and company from rushing for 200+ yds against you defense was the fact that it wasnt necessary.

Coach K nice try , but Im sorry to inform you K Morrison was a WLB His first year. Second who cares how many tackles vilma had, but where those tackles were being made. Third I like my Lbs a little more than 225 pounds(play ss) Fourth ever hear of one year wonders- after his rookie season his career been going down hill fast. again he had alot more tackles in 2005, but Jets couldn't stop anybody running game- so who cares he made alot of tackles down the field. Last Point again are the Jets going back to the 4-3. Not as long as Mangini head coach. 20 Year from now special K, your going to be saying remember that one year(rookie year) Vilma was awesome in 4-3, than the coach made their best player on defense a non factor in 3-4. Yet Jet fans, call this guy a genius.
