One more good healthy year, like 02, and he'll move himself into the Top Tier.

As per another post regarding the top 30 receivers by Espn TJ was ranked Higher than Coles. And he plays with a Top Five in the League receiver who takes at least 20-30 passes a year from him. If he was on most other teams he would be top ten easy Only NYJ fans think our guys are better than they are.
Are you going to now tell me Peter King does not know what he is talking about.
I do think Coles is good but he is not TJ.

Since the losing began after winning SB3 my humble opinion is that NYJ fans have ALWAYS way overestimated the abilities of the players that were on our teams thru the years

What? You're not getting the point. His numbers are inflated BECAUSE he has a top 5 reciever lining up opposite of him to take the pressure off of him, not to mention a QB who's also top 5 in the league. Stick him on the Jets in Coles' spot and he would probably look very average. Stick Coles on the Bengals and he's probably top 5 in the league in yardage in that situation.

I like Housh as a player, but you're not looking at the big picture at all here. He's a great #2, definitely top 3 or 4 (with Wayne being ahead of him and Cotch being a little behind him at this point, but possibly surpassing him this year), but saying he's better than Coles while looking at the situations they're in is blind.

PS: Peter King did not rank those WRs.

All this talk about TJ and Coles...I'm seriously just hoping Cotch turns out to be as good as people on this board seem to believe he will. He had a good year, Pennington is further removed from surgery, and we should have a running game this season.

All signs do point to him taking the next step, but I think I'm gonna take a wait and see approach with him instead of crowning him our #1.

I think Cotch will be better than both of them.

Love Pennington, it's hard not to root for this guy! Coles is a better receiver than TJ.

What does the Great Chad Debate boil down to? We have a chance to make the playoffs with him, and we have no chance without him. He is who we have, so Chad haters, shut up, and Chad supporters, stop making threads begging to get into a fight with your counterparts.

All "Haters" root for him on Sunday. However, sometimes in life one has to take a small step backwards in order to take a big step forward.
