No I was aware as I do follow football. Still can't figure out how that makes them closer to returning to a SB though..
and that is my point why that statement is completely ridiculous as neither one of them has ever won a playoff game in there lives.. and Palmer is coming off an underacheiving season with his team and LT is coming off another playoff flop with his team..
Using Champ logic, wouldn't these seasons be considered complete failures as they did not win CHAMPIONSHIPS? Wouldn't it have been better for them to miss the playoffs those years to acquire higher draft picks?
OK but on paper they do appear to be stronger then us which I am sure what the other poster is looking at at this moment
Just having some fun with him. He can call me silly, I can call him old, it's how we relate to each other. We're Jet fans, we're tough.
Yep sure would ANY season that you do not win a CHAMPIONSHIP is a unsuccessful season. Well since the draft supposely is make weak teams stronger then the weaker you are the better chance you have to get SB ready faster which at least is the theroy. Please advise all of us what is the final objective of the regular season?
From what we've read today, I guess so. San Diego's appearance in the Super Bowl is not something I'd be touting if we're trying to talk them up as some kind of NFL dynasty.
No, their passing game has more talent than ours. But there is far more to a team than that, and in the most important instance, the Head Coach has no hold on the team whatsoever. And the addition of Jones will put us ahead of them offensively. We outrushed them last year with no running game whatsoever.
You guys want to make the argument that we aren't on the level of NE or Indy, fine I can understand.. But Cinci and SD?? cmon they don't scare me one bit, I would sign right now for a playoff date with either one of them.
Even on field turf right now several of those teams namely Indy/Balt & NE are stronger then us & we would be the underdog in those games
The final objective is a Super Bowl Championship..............so then why are you bringing up the fact that these teams went to the Super Bowl and lost? Using your logic....who cares? After all, you DID bring it up.
When was the last time the Bengals even won a single playoff game? I'm pretty sure Boomer was the QB.
Yep I brought it to show that they have been AFC champs & we have never been AFC champs. I sure you know that teeny stat
The Bengals 0-38 in bringing a Sb championship to Cincy The Chargers are 0-43 in bringing a SB championship to San Diego You can't argue 1 way for your benefit and reverse it to try and win another argument.
I'd still really like to hear fourthandlongs's reasoning on how SD and Cinci are closer to a Sb than we are..
Come to think of it, when was the last time San Diego won a playoff game? Was in the 1994-95 AFC Championship game at Pittsburgh? It might be.
