Ahh, metalheads are used to hearing this crap. Let them go listen to their jock-rock flavor of the month. We all know better.
I find it funny that this asshat is talking about not being able to understand what they are saying. I have never seen spelling so bad. And Slipknot? Biggest piece of shit band to hit the metal scene ever.
Always interesting to see how clever people can be when mocking metal, but that was obviously some kid trolling the site. Nobody is that dense.
I love how he talks about how evil they are and how they wanna go to hell and therefore theyre bad. Then he goes on to mention he likes Slayer.
http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=71066 Guitarist Alex Auburn of the Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band has once again parted ways with singer Lord Worm (a.k.a. Dan Greening). No reason was given for Lord Worm's departure, but according to Auburn, this time the vocalist was "kicked out" of the band and didn't leave of his own accord. CRYPTOPSY is currently looking to audition candidates to fill the positions of singer/frontman and keyboardist/samplist. Vocalists must be able to sing in clean voice, on pitch, and also be able to scream/growl. If you are motivated and would like to try out, e-mail the band at crymusic@hotmail.com. If you have a criminal record, don't bother auditioning, as this means you can't tour. CRYPTOPSY's last studio album, "Once Was Not", was released in 2005 via Century Media Records.
So, I saw Behemoth yesterday, and Cannibal Corpse today, among a shit load of other bands at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. I picked up these albums from some of the distros: Behemoth - Zos Kia Cultus Beneath the Massacre - Evidence of Inequity EP Spawn of Possession - Cabinet Severe Torture - Fall of the Despised Brodequin - Methods of Execution Gorgasm - Bleeding Profusely Vital Remains - Dechristianize Saprogenic - Ichneumonid Unfortunately I still own a bunch of other stuff that I haven't gotten around to listening to, so I probably won't get around to these guys for a while. But I think that overall it was a pretty damn good haul.
I've just grabbed Cabinet recently myself. I can't speak for all of those albums but I can guarantee you won't be disappointed with Dechristianize. Glen Benton does a really good job and just a great overall album. Also, Zos Kia Cultus is killer.
ahahahha i was suppost to go, just because this girl i know is going and shes renting a hotel room, and i was planning on just heavily drinking all day in the hotel
I went to the Type-O/Celtic Frost gig Saturday night and Type-O cancelled at the last minute... so I got to see Celtic Frost headline, which was cool. Place wasn't nearly as packed as it should have been, though.
Celtic Frost was supposed to play Providence on May 7. I was planning on venturing down there for the show, but they cancelled. :/
This should get all of the metal babes groovin in tight leather pants... Finger Eleven heard it today on the WRAT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYGCT4AQIR0
yeah,Pete Steele has been cancelling shows due to illness. I have read that he has been sitting while playing, juts a crappy tour. I guess his addictions are literally killing him. When i met them in March, his front teeth were pretty much rotten.
