Who's your daddy? Lowell's been one of my favorite non-Mets since he's been in Florida. Glad to see him back and playing better than ever.
Who's my daddy? Two years in the last decade? And one of them only ended in the Sox favor. Seriously?
Blargh. Sigh. It was a comment on the hypocrisy of a Yankee fan questioning another fanbase's class because of an innocent chant.
As much as it sucks to hear, the yankees are freaking laughable the way they are built right now. So you really can't blame them
You stole my word! That innocent chant was created by a Sox player, who is now a Met. And I never get into those stupid chants. I've always thought that doing anything but cheering for your own team was classless. There's no hypocrisy here.
He looked fine. I think he was just putting a little extra on the pitch and yelled. I could be wrong though.
I could be wrong, but I think Martinez only said, "...the Yankees are my daddy..." during a post game interview. I don't think he ever actually created or started a chant. That came courtesy wonderful and upstanding Yankees fans.
It's funny that Yankees fans catch so much flak, yet it's mostly Sox and Mets fans that are usually throwing around the insults, and displaying blind hatred.
Well, it was dumb for the Yankees to give Clemens an obscene amount of money out of desperation in hopes of catching the Sox, only to wuss out of having him start in Fenway. They deserve the chant for that. By the way, the origin of the "Where is Roger?" chant was the 1999 ALCS where Clemens got shelled and was out in like the second inning.
