Carlos I with the miraculous pickup of a runner on 3rd and less than two out (13th time out of 25 this season that he did it).
Wright doubles in Carlos I to tie the game after Carlos II almost hits it out. Cain doesn't have much so far either.
It'd be interesting to see what the league average for this is, I don't know anyone that keeps track of this kind of thing though.
I defniitely recall Gary saying earlier this year that it was about 2/3, presumably from people like Elias.
now that jackass Aurillia has knocked Beltran out of the game because he doesn't know how to play 1st. since keith is off tonight i'll say it, throw at him next time he comes up.
Just bitter about having Gomez in the #3 spot for the rest of the game. And now because of that we'll probably see Reyes walked here.
Well, it would have been ball 4, but Jose punches it into LF instead for an RBI single. Then he gets thrown out trying to steal. Gary and Ron talking about the whole A-Rod thing - more jealous obsessed Mets fans, I guess.
They need to get this kid back to the minors ASAP. I know they don't have alot of options right now, but he's looking foolish pretty much every AB and I can't imagine this is doing anything for his confidence.
Endy doesn't do it this time, and the Mets once again fail to get a runner in from third with less than two outs. In 4 innings the Giants have 2 runs with 3 baserunners, and the Mets have 4 runs with 10 baserunners.
I've had about enough of this Giants middle infield. Sure they're both absolute disasters offensively but they've probably saved at least a couple runs this series in the field.
