They received pics and they printed them, the player shouldn't have been taking bong hits. The Mets did have a gay player, I don't think it's a big deal but he made it a big deal when he called a PC to deny it even though based on all the evidence I have seen and heard I think he's gay. If there was a player on the yanks in the same circumstances you don't think thye would have run w/ that story?

    exactly.

Glad to see that Arod is concerned about the state of the Yankees.

I have info that alot of people have but not the general public. I am not going to say what it is but I do think he's gay or at least bisexual. I still lie the guy, I have met him on several occasions and he is a good guy.

By the way, you do know it's possible for married guys to be gay, right?

Sweeney Murtays remark on the Beningo show was hilarious, "he was just escorting her to my room."

Of course they are. What I was trying to say by pointing that out is that his public face is that of a straight man. And I don't see how some random fan on a messageboard would have intimate knowledge about Mike Pizza's private life that would contradict what's widely known about him.

This is how stupid rumors get started.

Anyway, I fail to see how an athlete's private life is anyone's business. Unless it affects their on field performance (say, a player missing time because of drug rehab, like Gooden and Strawberry) or puts others at risk (Elijah Dukes) I don't need or want to know about it. I'm a baseball fan, I'm not looking to live vicariously through these people.

There's no other way to read it unless nyjunc informs us of his profession (Piazza's former male maid?; Mets clubhouse worker?; Piazza's limo driver?, etc.) . As it stands now, nyjunc's comments are very curious. It sounds like he needs to watch ESPNEWS.

because I don't see why it's worth it.

like I said, if I want to see dirty pictures and dumb invented gossip, there's plenty of it online.

of course, there's plenty of news online too, but I could still see someone subscribing to a real newspaper.

I hate to be the first one to tell you about this, but junc has slept with Piazza. That's how he knows.

[edit: didn't see that rich beat me to telling you this. So I guess I'm the second one to tell you, and I don't have to worry.]

The Post's source was our very own junc.

Would've been REAL tgg pub if he had allowed his username to be printed in connection with the story.
