Toronto is ahead of the Yankees despite losing BJ Ryan, Roy Halladay, missing Glaus some time, Gustavo Chacin...And still they're only 5 under despite all of that.

    The matchups are as follows.

    Matt DeSalvo(1-1 5.29 ERA) vs. Dustin McGowan(0-2 7.17 ERA)

    Andy Pettitte(3-3 2.66 ERA) vs. Shaun Marcum(2-2 4.33 ERA)

    Tyler Clippard(1-1 3.60 ERA) vs. Jesse Litsch(1-1 4.24 ERA)

If McGowan shuts down the Yanks, ahh n/m, it can't happen.

Yanks SHOULD sweep this series...But since they never seen Litsch, so you know he's going to pitch a gem.

Getting a little ahead of yourself with the sweep talk, no Ecko?

It can't happen...One of these kids will pitch a gem against the Yanks, it's a sure thing for it to happen, it never fails.

But if they win tonight with DeSalvo, then I can see them sweeping Toronto.

The Yankees are playing their worst baseball yet you guys are still thinking sweep? Oh Lord... just try to win 2 out of 3 and steer this organization on the right track, don't get ahead of yourself.

Congratulations, MLB. One New York team doesn't even have a game on Memorial Day, and the other is playing in Canada. Winners. Seriously. Good job.

I agree... what the hell were they thinking? They should have had Red Sox/Yankees and Mets/Braves this week instead of last week.

lul You were listening to that Fox Sports guy weren't ya. I heard him complain about that 6 teams inactive on Memorial Day and sending the most popular team to Canada. MLB screwed this up big time.

I'll get ahead of myself, the Yankees to me are better than Toronto, and they're avoiding Burnett AND Halladay. Sorry that I think the Yanks bats should bat around these pitchers...

But of course I know the Yanks will get dominated by one of these guys, take your pick.

Speaking of snorer... I actually fell asleep at a game in Sky Dome once. I was at the Leafs game 7 victory over the Sens the night before and was out all night partying (Front Street I beleive it's called). Got 2 hours sleep and then worked all day... I had some time to kill so I went to see the Bo-Sox play the Jays and ended up napping out for about an inning and a half.
