Posada is becoming my favorite Yankee. He is amazingly consistent.

Yeah, strangely, at the position that ages you the quickest, he's playing younger.

The contract year probably doesn't hurt, but he did improve a lot last year too, at least defensively. His offense this year has been sick though.

His problem has been homers and walks. He was doing a good job limiting homers and walks.

Today, it's been all homers and walks (and an unlucky bloop).

He's certainly not a god, but he'll be a keeper.

Lo Duca's ability to throw out runners this year has been fuckin unreal, and it continues with the gunning of Cano.

    5-1 Yankees, Bottom 5.

Either you're a liar, or the Yankees good luck charm.

I'm not mailing it in, but seeing Maine continue to walk guys and give up homers is a bad sign. The only encouraging thing is that if that bloop doesn't fall in then it's still 1-1. Doesn't make this any less painful to watch thus far, when we can't hit a damn rook.

BTW, has anyone else noticed how inconsistent the strike zone's been all game on both sides?

Willie really is waving the white flag ... well Yankee fans it's been a fun weekend. The Mets won't win 2 of 3 in the Bronx so again I'm a thinking a split yet again
