ehhh that isn't THAT bad of a ranking. some idiots would consider putting eli ahead of him, and some experts like salisbury would definitely put trent green ahead of him.

Once you get past #7 or #8 you could almost make an argument for any of the remaining QBs to fall anywhere on the list. Pennington certainly isn't in that top group of QBs so I'm not sure what there is to get upset about.

idk, chad probably ranks anywhere from 15-20, so even though thats the last place i think you could put him without saying "wtf?", its nothing to get upset about.

chad ranks anywhere in between 10-15, not 15-20...putting Cutler and Leinart above him at this point is just plain stupid

Read the intro. He's basing it on predicted performance for the 2007 season. So there's no way to know whether these rankings are bad until we see what these players do. That being said, there's no way Alex Smith is better than Pennington in this upcoming season or any other.

everything i have read says garcia is going to be the starter in TB. and chad is a decent quarterback as long as he is in the right system but nowhere near elite level

I forgot to add, these rankings are based on overall talent assessment shown by performance in NFL thus far

if you have chad ranked 9th of all qbs...you are officially an idiot...hes in the 14, 15 or 16 range

    leinart 27th???
    mcnair 22nd??

and delhomme 14th, please...had a HORRIBLE year last year and he had steve smith and keyshawn, if you cant produce in that offense, you cant be in the top 15

Seems like a reasonable place to rank him to me. I'd put him a couple of slots higher but not too much.

    1. Colts: P. Manning
    2. Patriots: Brady
    3. Bengals: Palmer
    4. Saints: Brees
    5. Eagles: McNabb
    6. Rams Bulger
    7. Seahawks- Hasselbeck
    8. Chargers: Rivers
    9. Steelers: Rothelisberger * giving him a pass on last year because of all the trauma
    10. Cowboys: Romo
    11. Ravens: McNair
    12. Broncos: Cutler
    13. Titans: Young
    14. Packers: Favre
    15. Chiefs: Green
    16. 49ers- Smith
    17. Jets: Pennington
    18. Falcons: Vick
    19. Panthers: Delhomme
    20. Jaguars: Leftwich
    21. Buccaneers: Garcia

if im so wrong, tell me besides Vince Young (in his 1 year in the NFL) who has more ability to have an impact on a team with the given talent thats ranked lower then chad?

yes, chad could easily be swapped by a couple quarterbacks in the 10-15 range, but thats as far as it goes...

ask yourself: if you were to rent a QB for 1 Year....which of those QB's below 15 would you really want....

and you call me an idiot

slightly updated...i made those rankings almost 3 months ago...

I understand the comment about Leinart..but since hes not shown much, im reluctant to give him anything higher...a few swaps but not a world of a difference

Other then Leinart, Smith and Cutler being too young and Garica being too old, I don't have a problem with that list.
