very true BUT the redskins signed a bunch of old players and wasn't coming off seasons of making the playoffs and win there divison title.
BUT now Moss has Brady throwing to him not Aaron Brooks or Kerry Collins. That will spark him because he knows now they will win a bunch of games unlike Oakland.
Both of those runs were just before my time although I remember the excitement in the room when the Mets and Jets were pulling off their big victories.
I think it may have had more to do with the 9.5 million he was due this year. Even the Pats, I read, had to get Brady to re-do his contract to make the trade happen. After it did Moss restructured down to 3. The trade couldn't happen unless somebody else also had 9.5 million of cap space left. That's why I think there weren't a lot of takers. Everybody knew he would accept less.
kinda contradicting yourself there...people didnt inquire because Moss would accept less? do teams really want to pay more for their players? These arent the New York Yankees buddy?
blah blah blah Patriots. Put Tom Brady on the Jets next year and Chad Pennington on the Patriots. Who wins the AFC East? Thats the difference between the Jets and Patriots, the two quarterbacks.
Brady would shred the Pats D just as easily as he shreds the Jets D.... And the Pats D could never frustrate Brady like our D in one our of three games last season... Brady is a spectacular QB, and he is the #1 reason the Pats are who they are
Do you have armed guards when you where your Pats and Sox gear or is it really just a myth? I had an instructor in adjuster school from Boston that lives in Long Island. He said that sometimes fans can get down right violent, even before alcohol is consumed and will throw stuff at you, and even your kids.
Clearly a myth.. In my experiences atleast.. I do get the WTF looks when I wear my Patriots jersey because there aren't any Pats fans around here.. Looks a lil out of place.. When I wear my Red Sox stuff, I've never had a problem.. There was only one time when I first moved here right after the Yankees lost 4 straight in the playoffs some punk said some stupid stuff.. I was with my girl, so I couldn't say anything back..haha.. She wins..
It ain't the "organization up north" it's "the other place". If we're gonna disrespect let's at least do it accurately. And I hate the fact that the Jets are in New Jersey and not NY. It's a disgrace that the city and the team could not get together on an acceptable joint venture to move the team back. And no, the white elephant on the Hudson was not an acceptable or responsible venture.
