Not even a small chance he makes the practice squad. If Tuiasosopo flops and gets cut he might stick at #3, but even then I'm not convinced. Training camp fodder.

I'm surprised that you're still a Jets fan, given the recent first round developments. :)

I like how people use "training camp fodder" in a derogatory way all the time.

Half the people on here if they actually spoke to Chad on the street for 5 mins would cream themself with excitment and rush here to post about it.
However, actually get to play football with Chad etc for a few weeks, get coached by the Jets staff and get paid for it - nah that player is a loser.

The majority of those people are the most prolific suppliers of "post fodder," whose contributions should either be viewed as a justification for continued education or just ignored completely.

Arm chair Head Coaches and QBs crack me up with their infallible wisdom and uncanny ability to predict future outcomes in player/team performances.

I posted this on another site, but thought you might be interested that Walter Thomas ended up with the Saints

Thanks, Baamf! I was wondering where he ended up.

Do you happen to know which team, if any, picked up RB/FB Jackie Battle? I'm dissappointed we didn't grab him.

I thought you were smarter than this? Way to drop a racist comment and expect everyone to ignore it because it's directed at white people. Keep it to yourself - and no, it's not even remotely funny if that's going to be your excuse.

Don't count on it, I don't think he'll make it past 1st cuts. Hopefully he does and proves me wrong, as a MWC guy I want to see all of the guys in our conference do well..... except John Beck who has given me yet another reason for me to root against him.

I could've sworn Rod Smith was a 7th rounder. I can't remember that far back...

You are correct. He was undrafted out of Missouri Southern. His welcome-to-the-NFL moment came in a game against Washington when he caught a 43-yard Hail Mary/Big Ben.
