What does this mean for Chad Jackson? A year ago he was a steal of the draft and the future of the Patriots WRs. Now, he is...#4 on the depth chart, at best?

you guys better be worried about randy going to the pats. we could lose the division everytime he puts on that uniform for the pats.

this is what randy wanted a team that has a chance for the superbowl so he can calm down his character and show his skill, he is one year older now, so he has matured one year more, as a man everyman knows you think diffrently especially when your in sports and have a chance to play for a real contender, not like playing for the raiders, you should know the atmosphere's are totally diffrent, a change any player would invite, you forget dillon was a complainer in cincy, it was all because he wanted to go to a contender, and compete for something greater than just wins.

    we should somehow prevent this...

chad has more history with moss than brady does, you guys know the stats they have together in marshall, penny still has the same arm, need i say more?

There are fans of other teams on this board who are not trolls. You, sir, qualify as a troll because you only show up here when the Patriots win or do something that is perceived by some people here as a good thing (Randy Moss acquisition).

Funny, you weren't here when the Patriots lost the AFC Championship Game.

    Gee, I wonder why.

He's simply not a dynamic player. I was pleased when NE drafted him last year.

That's not true. That's never been true. Quite the opposite. There are plenty of foreign fans on this board for whom I have the highest respect. In this thread alone - Dirtywater, NJRaider, SeaninTitletown. I promise you, you'll get respect from me and others here as well, if you give it back. It comes through in what you say and how you say it, and you know that.

So I guess when more people are talking about what people are saying to each other in a thread then the subject of the thread...it's not something we want to talk about....
    :shit:

I don't know about you guys but I'm going to be freaking out until sept 9 .:gpc: :gpc: :gpc:

    Did you have another account?

I checked your history and you posted during the Wild Card game and then vanished till March.

For the future, if you post here when the Patriots lose a game, you'll shed the troll label.

So this basically means they traded a 2nd and a 7th for their #3 receiver. Nice.

and that makes up for getting a guy who could be the best WR in football for a 4th?

The fact that Moss got traded to a team like the Patriots makes this not the greatest news in the world.

You said it best. Now that Moss is out the dark whole in Oakland, he can, and will, prove himself in NE. He's on a contending team, so any other reason why he would NOT perform to his expectations would be a mystery.
It goes to show how stupid Al Davis is. Maybe he just wanted to get rid of Randy, but I mean, for a 4th round pick? Who did they take with that pick? Michael Bush.

Bush for Moss, yeah, Oakland got the better end of the deal on that[/sarcasm]

Basically everyone do what i do... Trick yourself into thinking Moss is gonna bust. You'll feel better.

    Also, get drunk.

He was on a good team at Florida State and that didn't last long at all. He was on a contending team at Minnesota and he caused trouble there. What makes going to New England any different?

Al Davis wanted to keep him. The new coaching staff wanted him gone. Bad way to start off as a new coach if you have somebody that disgruntled. It is also effecting Sapp who didn't show up for last week's team meetings either.

You forgot he won a national 1a championship at Marshall with Pennington (his roommate btw) and was a model citizen there. I guess winning matters to him like he says.

By then he realized he needed to be on his best behavior to get that NFL money. Now he's got that and does what he wants- gives up on routes, doesn't go all out on running plays, complains about not getting the ball enough, leaves a game early, sprays a guy with water during a game, pretends to wipe his bum on a goalpost, shies away from contact, etc.

I guess he needs a coach who knows how to motivate him.
