For those who haven't seen Stuckey they threw a lot of short passes and let him try to make people miss. That should give you a good idea of what we got.

"Compares to Deion Branch", I'm sold. Can't wait to see what he's got. Don't seem like a bad pick to me.

I'll take the positive view here and hope for some surprises from him. I just hope he overcomes the foot injury thing. On the surface, looks like another good pick.

Oddly, I don't think I saw one Clemson game last year. I have no opinion of Stuckey. Hope he pans out.

Never heard of the guy and was a little annoyed when I saw his name and measurables come up, but all he did his last 2 years at Clemson was produce. From his NFL.com profile:

    "Compares To: Deion Branch, Seattle"

Not a bad comparison. NFLDraftCountdown gives him a mid round grade as well. He had a broken foot early last season or he would have been on more peoples draft boards.

Look at his campus time. He ran a 4.34. He had a foot injury and fought through it during the season and combine. Excellent value, he was projected as a 3rd rounder.

Yeh I am okay with this pick,

Coles, Cotchery, Smith, McCariens and Stuckey is an alright recieving corps

we still need a big guy to replace McCareins but. I am sure something will pop up

Considering Chad's strength is in the short game, Stuckey seems like a good fit for our offense.

    Guys calm down......

Stuckey is a good pick. He is 4th round value and we grab him late in round 7. He can be a quality Special Teams Guy and we prob wont see as much of Brad Smith on trick plays as we did before.

When would the Jets announce free agent aquisitions?

Stuckey was the 1st Clemson Tiger since the 1940s to account for a TD four different ways (pass, punt return, rush, reception).

I don't remember seeing that speed. Never said he was slow, but Tim Dwight was never a blazer to me.

Also, NFLN talked about him being slow and stiff in the hips, so that's where I got the idea from. I guess they were talking out of their butts, then. Good to hear he can run a 4.35s 40.
