I think he'll be there. From what I read, only 3 teams, including us, met with him.

I'm not really sure how you can be shocked. Yeah he's quite a physical specimen, but he has near zero experience playing football. And what little he has is at the JUCO level. I also recall hearing he was involved in some kind of legal trouble.

I think the people on this board have really hyped Thomas up...not that I would be upset to get him, but he's rarely played competitively, and he's a loose cannon. So it's all based on his measurables, really. So he could fall.

If he's on the board with our FINAL pick, and Mangini passes, then he obviously didn't impress us.

I'm comfortable not taking some 7th round nose tackle just to 'fill' a need.

I'd be thrilled with Thomas at 235, but I feel like we might be able to pass on him, and bring him in as an undrafted free agent.

If we take him, we take him, but I wouldn't worry, he most likely will be a UDFA, so we can pick him up after the draft

If we like him at all, then you don't pass at 235. There's 10-15 compensatory picks at the end of the 7th, the type of picks used on guys like Thomas. If you like the guy, it's silly to roll the dice. He HAS to be better than Titus Adams.

If he is there at 235, we HAVE to take him. Unless we were totally unimpressed with him. He has a huge upside, and anyone you pick in rd 7 is never considered a mistake either way.

Skins finally took a QB! No way! Of course this is only what, their 3rd? What did they do with all their picks? Trade em?

Talking about the Jets now. Too bad neither of them understand the definitions of quantity and quality.

Basically that we probably thought the draft wasn't deep, so we traded up, got two very good players. They praised what we did. And they're not wrong. We got 2 very good players.

Also said we should be a playoff team.
