My major concern is how well Revis can be against Moss, from every scouting report i read, Revis can turn and run well, but will gets sloppy when backpedaling.. Also he Lacks the blazing speed to stay tight on the receiver in deep routes. This worries me.

Does that mean you'll finally leave?

ugh - just got home from my flag football game and saw this. I try not to be pessimistic, but this is awful news. Might as well give them the trophy now because no one is going to be able to stop them barring serious injury.

    Shake it off.

Being a Jets fan is never easy. Their is no point forfeiting the season. We don't know how good we will be, or how good randy moss will be. Just hold on tight, its gonna be a wild season.

Yeah, the Pats sold the farm for a SB trophy next season. The thing is, their offseason reminds me of a certain other team that wins the offseason every year, the Redskins. What has it got them so far?

Moss will have issues on the Pats. Brady spreads the ball around a TON in that offense. They also run the ball alot. Moss will be bitching about lack of touches by midseason.

I'm just thankful we only have to play them twice. At least in one game, we can most likely come in at full strength.

    Yeah but so will they.

I am not liking starting out against the Pats now cuz I hate getting blown out early and I see us as matching up poorly across the board against them at this point.

No pass rush and trying to cover Moss and Stallworth, yeah that'll work out.

With Kyle Brady they will be able to run a two TE set and have Watson out with Stallworth and Moss. That's a lot of big and fast.

Tom Brady is better than any QB the Redskins have ever had. Moss just wants to win a trophy and I don't think Belli will let him get outta control.

Can't really say we've got no pass rush. We've got to see what happens with the guys we've brought in, particularly those meant to be pass rushers. It's entirely possible we'll not penetrate an offensive line the entire year, but the point is we have to see.

not even close. the Redskins have tried to build teams through free agency, the Pats aren't building, they are simply adding to an already great team with great free agents signings and trades. HUUUUUGE difference.

if that is reminscent of any team in sports, it is the Yankees, who had a great WS winning dynasty and then became committed and determnied to acquire every top free agent and player available every off season, which has yet to return them to their WS dominance.

great trade for the Pats. Randy Moss is well worth the risk of a 4th rd pick, salary cap repercussions and attitude, because if he works out he makes a team significantly better.

Yes but you're missing the point. If you have a guy on your boards that you KNOW is going to be a good player and can make your team better you HAVE to take risks to get these guys.

And not to mention no one knew that rice would be who he is except walsh. And that includes us sadly...

Watch, if they don't win the SB in the next 2 years it will be all for nothing, as age and the cap catches up with them. I have a feeling next winter and maybe the winter after that we will become charger fans for a week.

Think again. You've got to do your own work on this board.

Beside which, I do think that's a genuine issue. It's easy enough to say that Randy Moss will be a model citizen and a good teammate in New England; but, in truth, that would be a first. Cast aside by Notre Dame for problems. Kicked out of Florida State, of all places, for behavior problems. We've seen him walk off the field on his team in Minnesota. Quit on his team in Oakland (although, who could blame him). Tells us all in a nationally broadcast interview how much he enjoys his weed (although, again, who could blame him). Now, all of a sudden, Randy is going to be perfect fit for a team that emphasizes "team"? It isn't off-the-wall to ask the obvious question: "Say what?!"

I will point out that agreeing to restructure his contract seems to suggest that Randy wants to work and play well with others. Also, Randy was at his best when he was out of options at Marshall. This may just be similar. We'll soon see. If I'm the Patriots, and I can get one ProBowl year out of the guy, that would be about as much as anyone should ever have the right to ask of Randy Moss.

You know what the crazy thing is? Randy Moss has been in the NFL now for 9 years as the scariest threat in the game at wide receiver and maybe overall and yet he hasn't come close to getting his ticket to Canton punched.

If he has two great years with New England and gets a ring or two out of it he *probably* goes to the hall of fame. But he isn't going to get any votes from the delegates from Minnesota or Oakland.

I don't know which way he goes but I can see an argument for him having the best two years a receiver has ever had back to back, and an argument for him just fading away and becoming a trivia question (who is the best player not to make the Hall of Fame in NFL history?)
