The thing is that Landry is essentially Sean Taylor II. They could've grabbed Okoye and would've filled a gigantic need with him.

I disagree with Landry being a reach. Landry might not have been the best player on the board, but he's arguably the best defensive player in the draft.

 

A 3rd and a 5 to move up 8 spots back into the first round was a good deal for Dallas.

So the Cowboys traded the 22nd, their 2nd 3rd and 5th for

the 26th, a 2nd and a future first rounder

so they basically traded their 3rd and 5th for a future first

 

Could be, all this wheeling and dealing has me about half goofy. :lol:

 

I'd like to think Dallas grabs Meachem here, but with the way some of these picks have gone I truly have no idea.

i think they are making a bad move by going back round 1. giving up 2 extra picks just to get in late 2nd round.

You forgot to add in that they moved down 4 slots but yeah, Dallas made out like bandits overall. However, it's not like the trades were necessarily bad for Cleveland or Philly either.
