revis wasn't my top pick, but frankly, I can't complain. I think we got pretty decent value for a shutdown corner. Hate to give up that 2nd, but what can you do?

The Jets scouts had him as the best corner for their schemes and needs, and that is all that matters. The FO knows what type of player they wanted for the team, Mel Kiper isn't going to be coaching this team. Mock drafts and independent scouting reports are next to worthless most of the time. Wake up.

Hall was getting smoked by the top receivers in the college level. He even gives huge cushions to those top receivers and still finds ways to get burnt. He would be more of a Safety then a Corner. He is absolutely not a shut down corner, and that is what we need most. Revis gives us that. Watch some college football, and actually read up on these guys before you throw your random statements around.

    that's a pretty good point.

i like Revis; i just didn't want to trade up to get him.

question: will Barrett now get the ax?

    cheers

I think that we will all be very suprised with our 2nd and 3rd round picks, again lots of people are dropping, our FO seems very prepared and know their stuff

You're also blind if you already forgot who the potential ROTY was before he got slightly banged up, a SEVENTH ROUNDER. The 1st round isn't everything, neither is the 2nd, otherwise why bother with the draft? Lets just draft one round and sign everyone else as free agents, eh?

I forget who said it but yes... we need a punt returner. Justin Miller cant do it all, Coles needs to focus on the recieving game since he's always getting hurt. Tim Dwight will prob get the boot... so yes, we need a punt returner.

See, you are coming off like a child now. Just because they didn't select a player you are in love with you are going to bash the pick endlessly and point to frigging draftniks and independent scouts who are consistently incorrect every single year. Good job.

I'm blind? What does that have to do with thinking we can get somebody that can change our ability to stop the run at 63? Or somebody that can even rush the passer?

In love with? I didn't want them to trade up for any corner. We now have 5 picks over 2 days and corner was not our biggest need when we can't do anything else on defense.
