Will the jets retire #28?

    I don't think that there is any question that we will. 4th leading rusher in NFL history and he was a class act.. he deserves it

    most definately they will, one of the greatest all time in the NFL, not just the jets organization

    Yes,... We retired the #s of our HOF players.... Curtis will be in the hall, and no Jet will wear 28 ever again

    if martin retires before the season, what is the first year he will be eligible to be elected? how does that work?

    I believe it is a five year wait so he would first be eligible in 2012. Your sig is awesome. I am thrilled how good Rhodes has be come because he gave me a pair of his gloves in his 1st training camp.

    As a rule, #28 needs to retire before #28 gets retired. After the former happens, the latter definately will.

    Namath - 12
    Maynard - 13
    Klecko - 73

    and very soon....Martin - 28

    The four best Jets, hands down.

    If they were gonna do it, it should have happened within 10 years of the injury.

    I like your avi kid, and your username, its a no-brainer.

    he was 2 types of a role model, to the fans and the players.

    and i promise i will go to see him when he stands on that podium, and puts on that yellow jacket.
