Kimo cuz he sucked before he came, he was old, and everybody thougt we were signing superman when I knew he would blow it for our d-line.
as much as he was bad. He has given me one of my greatest Jets memories. When he picked off Big Ben and returned it like 85 yards for a TD. Put the Jets up 17-7 in that playoff and I thought we were gonna win. I was going nuts...I was on the floor like screaming and just like going out of control.
Solid blocking is unappreciated by most ... especially when TE's have become more and more involved in the passing game. Becht was very solid. I have to go with Keyshaun and Abraham for their bitch attitudes.
Interesting thread - really makes you think hard about "hate" versus dislike. There were plenty of players who performed badly who you didn't like for performance, but to "hate" a player or coach - there has to be something more to it... So, in no particular order: John Abraham - always hurt, whiner, played for HIMSELF and Money...bye bye.. Santana Moss - and I will qualify this - I only hate him because I hated picking him...nothing personal... Mickey Schuler - a really good player who could have been great if he didn't drop so many balls...and part of the "white man's club" on the 80's Jets. Lam Jones - sames as Moss, nothing personal, just an awful (even worse) pick. Curtis Conway - foolish FA pickup Mike Haight - ok, his name is pronounced HATE - and he was a bum pick... Carl Barzilauskas - could have been a HOF DT but ate himself out of football. I hate anyone who blows his talent like this guy did. Ron Faurot - a total stiff with attitude Gary Puetz - laughing while losing on Monday Night Chris Ward - "holding, number 72 offense" a real bust who blew his career up his nose... Matt O'Dwyer - tough guy on and off the field - troublemaker Carlton Haselrig - couldn't control his deamons - could have been great Greg Buttle - my ALL TIME least favorite Jet. He think's he's something...and you can tell the way he acts. Arrogant Attitude JERK! Yells at callers. Captain of the "White Man's Club" Clubhouse trouble makers. He's 50 and he's still trying to pick up young girls. What a MA-ROON! Scott Frost - all the talent and none of the guts Nuu Faaola - raped and beat his girlfriend, nuff said Damien Robinson - Captain of the All-Herm Team...and his guns Al Woodall - he came in, the Jets LOST! Richard Todd - for all you've done and choked away - nothing personal QB of the all-hated team... Rick Mirer - knew he'd ruin our Championship Season...knew it! Coaches: Lou Holtz - liar and quitter Walt Michaels - used race in the locker room, ruled with fear Bill Belichick - quitter and liar in that order... Herm Edwards - liar and quitter II Management: Jim Kensil - league crony couldn't help us Terry Bradway - in over his head
Damien Robinson just threw up his hands and gave up on plays, oh and neil odonnel ( and boy did parcells hate him too!!
Surprising pick. Multiple pro bowls, part of the all-time Jets team, Mickey was one of my favorites. Never thought of him having bad hands, quite the opposite, always seemed to make that clutch third down catch. Interesting...
Anthony Becht...you can say what you want about his blocking but most of the time they were illegal. If he didn't drop a pass he'd be pushing us back with a hold or block in the back. He was a joke.
