Green is top 5 material, as you said. And New York Mick, I had thought that Big Ben was overrated until the Colts game in the playoffs. He poised himself very well and on the opening 2 drives they pretty much passed right down the Colts throats. Granted, it is the Indianapolis Colts but they had decent pressure on him and he still did great. He's a very poised guy that is already a proven winner... if you're going to put Brady in the top 5 Big Ben should not be far behind him.
That is a really dumb list. So you are telling me that you'd rather have Brunell over Manning and Brady? You just posted this message for attention, and you got it...HAPPY?
Brady - 02 - 3764 yards - 28 tds - 14 ints 03 - 3620 yards - 23 tds - 12 ints 04 - 3692 yards - 28 tds - 14 ints 05 - 4110 yards - 26 tds - 14 ints 60+ comp rate over 230 ypg Burgerboy 04 - 2621 yards - 17 tds - 11 ints 05 - 2385 yards - 17 tds - 9 ints over 60+ comp rate over 190 ypg Both on very good teams. Ben is great for a second year rookie but is not in my opinion in the top five.
Burgerboy was a rookie in 2004, and was injured throughout 2005 and missed a few starts. He showed in the playoffs that he is Tom Brady, and possibly even more. When you're judging QBs you look at how they get it done in the big games... and Big Ben has always come up big (except AFC Chamionship game last year).
I agree Burgerboy has done a good job and is going to be as good or better then Brady but at this point I would put him at #8.
Has always come up big??? When? One crucial tackle in a playoff game that shouldn't even have been close had the Colts not played with what seemed like hang overs. I think Simms had more last minute comebacks than Ben has had. Ben is a great QB to have when your up, then again most QB do good in such a spot. Ben would be far down my list if I needed say a winning drive, a time constrainted-pass only winning drive, we know he can hand it off like no other QB.
Can the guys who posted Brady as the best officially realize he's not THAT amazing? Manning is without a doubt the best QB today and maybe the best ever.
Roethlisberger is not a top 5 qb in this league dont care that he won a super bowl probably one of the worst performance by a winning qb.
1. Peyton 2. Brady 3. Brees 4. Palmer 5. Michael Vick (bash him all you want - if you found out tomorrow he was the new Jets QB, you'd be very happy)
How is Peyton above Brady again? So you fall from grace because someone else is going to the SB instead of you? Does Grossman now suddenly rank better than Brady too? I feel Peyton is a very good QB, he's at the top of the heap, but I don't feel he's better than Brady.
People love to talk about how bad Michael Vick is. He's never had a good coach and he has unreal talent. You can say you'd be disappointed if he was the Jets QB but I don't believe you. It's easy to say that because it's not going to happen but I would be thrilled if it did.
