OMG! hehe. Brees sucks, and we need Brooks instead of Chad. This thread should be on one of those commercials where the guy at the wedding makes some bold statement about some NFL players then explains that he sweating like a steam "fitta" in there. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT! LOL!
Actually it's 11 months later. And yes, Dino, I'll try to defend him... There was a vast number of us who thought there was NO WAY Chad was gonna come back from a second surgery. Although we were proven wrong, we had the options of Aaron Brooks and Patrick Ramsey as the only veteran starters who weren't old enough to be playing in 1990. I was never a Brooks lover (I think he only had one good season for New Orleans), and at the time was excited when we got Ramsey. but after training camp opened and preseason was underway, I thought Ramsey was a huge mistake. I heard and saw nothing positive from him.
If given the choice between Ramsey and Brooks, I would have taken the latter 11 months ago. Although, at that time I was still holding out hope that Chad would come back - and he did.
This reminds me of that NFL Network commercial where the guys says "Something tells me Ronde Barber is going to hang them up after this season"....
I love all of those commericals.....they started doing them I tihnk 2 years ago, they're all pretty funny.....I heard one the other day with Mangini in it, but I couldn't hear exactly what they said
Yea that is why I say this is crazy! He had Joe Horn and Dante Stallworth to throw to and Deuce Mcallister to hand the ball off too for years and did nothing. He is a BUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
