I watched Kraven and Minecraft at home. Kraven should have been 40 minutes shorter but the action scenes were good. Minecraft was very fun but best watched with kids. I am going to watch Sinners next. I heard that was good.
Sinners was good. The first half was pretty good and the second half was great, very fun/entertaining. Good music too.
Not sure what to make of the new Fantastic Four. Haven't seen it yet and the trailers didn't look very impressive. Seems to be grossing pretty well at the box office so I guess that's all that matters.
I liked the first 2/3s of it but there were a few parts that didn't work for me. Plus it felt like it was ending over and over for the final 30 minutes.
Happy Gilmore was way better than expected. Not the first but entertaining and a few real good laughs. Amazing how many PGA and LIV golfers are in it with some more than just cameos. A few other surprise cameos too.
I was thinking about watching "Bugonia" on Prime(I think). It has a pretty good rating on IMDB. Is it worth checking out?
Saw a good (older) film on Amazon prime the other day The Cop, The Gangster, The Devil - a 2019 south korean crime flick that incredibly is based on a true story - it stars Ma Dong-seok who most people will know as the big guy from Train to Busan - it was surprisingly entertaining. it also reminded me of a great movie - Memories of Murder (2003) - which I highly recommend and which was directed by Bong Joon Ho who subsequently became pretty famous for Parasite.
I saw two really creepy horror movies. Both by the same director. Caveat - very creepy and eerie. One of the last scenes is among the creepiest/scariest in recent memory. Oddity - Higher budget and a bit more of a normal horror storyline with some changes. Very good movie.
Not really creepy but more just a tad fucked up, 28 Years Later The Bone Temple was great. No spoilers, but in a movie about a satanic cult and zombies a scene had me laughing for a few minutes. Great flick I hope it's get enough support to do another one. I did not think the first 28 Years Later was very good.
I'll have to watch the second one. It looks good. I liked the first one. It was less a Zombie movie and more about a boy trying to heal his mother, and their happen to be Zombies.
