    You called it: https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/2016236767196696856

Brady calling offense and JL calling defense for the Bills. Guys we wanted, well at least Jimbo, but I liked both.

But hey, who cares about their coaching, they have some big contracts and will likely suck anyway, according to some analysts around here. Nothing for us to worry about.

I WANT them to regress. But think they have good coaching now with Brady and JL. I hope they fail. As far as betting your money, I personally don't gamble, but if that's your thing, there are plenty of places where you can do that.

It's wild how you either completely whiffed on the point of anything I said or you're willfully choosing ignorance because it would force you to think on higher than a middle school level.

So apparently it was everyone but Glenn’s fault

It's hard to know what you actually believe. You have been defending Glenn, then someone asked you to vote and you voted to fire him. But then attack people who say the same thing. Everyone thinks you want to keep him, you then say again you actually want to fire him. Basically back and fourth you go. I then made a point about coaching being better if they get a good DC (which now looks like they might have gotten a guy we all wanted, including yourself) making a difference, and you said that means I said they will get better because they will get better. That implies coaching does not matter than much. So, if I am at middle school level, you are not even in pre school yet.

I guess I have to explain as if you actually are a middle schooler.

This shouldn't have to be said but it is 10000% possible to say a guy should be fired and also have a logical convo where you can discuss what ACTUALLY happened and why it may or may not be the fault of the guy that everyone is emotionally reacting to. I don't know how that has to be explained, but I guess that's the internet in 2026. The world in 2026 really. It's not my fault that you and others can't comprehend the difference between EVERYTHING IS GLENN'S FAULT AND HE SUCKS and some things are his fault, some aren't, on merit he should be fired but I understand why he wasn't. Again.... this is just real world, adult logic. That's how conversations work. I can't imagine you in a meeting at work.

And if you told a middle schooler "this ice cream sundae is really good... the flavor is gonna stay the same, we don't really have the toppings to make it better and actually we might lose some toppings" they'd understand it. Now pretend the Bills are ice cream, the flavor is Brady, the toppings are guys that aren't even under contract with the team anymore.

LOL. Wow, the explanation is even worse than original gibberish. You might actually be a preschooler after all. Or at least thinking like one.

Whatever makes you feel better bud. I've never seen a guy who wants to talk about the direction of a team without mentioning free agents, cap space or picks. You can find Bills fans talking about it, you can find articles talking about it... but Borat from a Jets message board thinks you're an idiot if you bring it up. As usual, trying to have any meaningful convo with you is useless.

As someone pointed out, it feels like you are trying to hone your debate skills rather than have actual meaningful discussion. We were talking about Brady as a coach, and I pointed out that they can hire a better coach on defense than McDermott was (and now they got the DC you wanted), while maintaining offensive continuity, which would have me concerned. You took that as me saying "they will get better because they will get better". Then complain discussion is useless when you dismiss that entire point. The discussion was fine until you started practicing your debate skills with the above comment and ran it into the ground.

Aaron Glenn looks increasingly incompetent as time goes on. He somehow seems to keep getting worse.
    He looks absolutely clueless.

This guy is such a dick. Honestly I never liked him here as a player after the fake spike play, and apparently he hasn’t gotten any smarter since then. After 50 years Glenn might be the guy that actually gets me to hate the Jets. It’s mind numbing how far he’s going to set this franchise back.

Eh his response made perfect sense dude. And I do think Glenn is probably over blamed here.

That comes from someone who thinks he should be fired and is mostly incompetent. I’d be more willing to want Glenn to ride a little longer if it wasn’t such a crucial couple off-seasons coming up. The Jets can very easily fix things quickly and the possible wrong coach being in place can force that to crash and burn.

Even I'm becoming tired of the Glenn discourse but I don't think he is over blamed here. He was that bad his first year. Historically bad point differential, only coach to ever have this bad of a point differential and not get fired, only the 2nd coach ever to fire both his OC and DC after his first year yet keep his own job (other guy to do that went 0-17 the following year).

Being upset that Glenn is still our coach is rational.

Plus, we do this thing every year where the hyper-negative people get called overreactors only to be proven correct down the line. It's annoying knowing that the train is careening towards a wall but having to wait another year for impact.

I'd love to talk more about the draft, free agency, etc., but the fact of the matter is we're in the midst of new coach season around the league and we're keeping a guy who was so bad there's basically no precedent for keeping him. Discussing Glenn makes all the sense in the world right now.

I don’t know how to imbed twitter posts here, but according to Zach Rosenblatt we apparently reached out to Gruden to see if he would work with Glenn. The level of stupidity and arrogance is fucking mind boggling.

I can only imagine what Gruden's response to that was.

It doesn’t even make sense. They thought Gruden would come here to be a fucking assistant?

There really is no plan at all huh? They're just trying to hire anyone who remotely has a name and hope it works out?

This is embarrassing at this point, especially since Glenn's whole thing before the season was that these big name coaches were generally overrated. Could it be any more obvious Glenn has no idea what he's doing?
