Definitely possible. I think the Giants are getting the first pick and it's not that unlikely they use it on a QB.
It was a tough call for me. My mom is a huge Steelers fan (Grew up outside Pittsburgh) but I needed the Browns to win.
Wow. Browns win and our Colts pick looks like its getting better all the time. Jags are very likely to win this.
Currently the Raiders and Giants would have a slight tie breaker over the Jets but the Raiders are much closer. So the most optimal result would be a tie and then they both win next week but if not I would prefer the Raiders win today and next week. The scenario for the Jets to get the first pick would require a Giants win today and next week + Raiders win next week + SOS breaking right for the Jets if it's even possible at this point.
That makes the most sense but there's a lot of smoke building that they are not bought into Dart. I kind of get it based on the injuries.
We have the worst SOS of the top 3 so I’ll be cheering on the Raiders for this week and next and pray for the #2. I’m sure the Giants will be “open for business” with the #1 so we still won’t get the first QB on the board (unless we’re dumb)
The only thing that matters now is making sure the Giants keep the 1st overall pick. It's the only way we have a shot at Mendoza. The Raiders are not going to trade the 1st overall pick if they get it.
This "smoke" is pretty clearly a bluff to get teams to think they want Mendoza and thus overpay for the 1st overall pick.
That's probably the best at this point. Make a trade with the Giants OR even just draft whoever isn't taken. The Giants can really play it to. They could trade to #2 with the Jets. Then trade down again with another team. Hopefully Moore declares because the Giants would lose leverage here to.
As of this writing, Aaron Glenn is still the head coach so who gives a shit what QB they draft. There are NO coaches worth a damn or capable of coaching any QB on this team so...wippety doo....
If I'm reading the internet right our colts pick is currently top 20. Not too shabby compared to what it looked like a couple months ago when Sauce went there.
Who cares whoever the Jets draft be sure Aaron Glenn and his staff will ruin them, every player espicially defensive player has regressed under Aaron Glenn this year, he doesn't coach man up or develop them he makes them worse.
