I haven't defended Glenn, but the hate he's getting is laughable at this board. That being said, the team has not looked ready to play for a month now and have looked terrible in every way.
This is about as bad a defense as I can remember the Jets having and I keep having to remind myself that Glenn is a defensive coach.
I mean I get it, and the Jets have no QB which is basically a death sentence in today's NFL. But the team looks like it's quit. That's not acceptable
Wow... Vrabel is from the Belichick coaching tree. He doesn't have an "off button." This score could EASILY get to 50 is something doesn't change.
We are literally going to go an entire season without an interception, aren't we? With defensive a minded head coach. That's almost impossible.
I don't consider myself an evaluator, but Cook is not an nfl qb it's beyond easy to see. He could have an offense of pro bowlers he would still suck. If we are going to kill the coaches because the weather is bad, we can call out shitty players.
That’s what players do when the HC shows himself to be a poor leader and a poor planner. I don’t care how bad the talent is, most of it is bad because they’ve regressed under Glenn. Every player on this team has slowly gotten worse under Glenn’s leadership (or lack thereof).
It's bend and then break. Or actually they aren't even really bending. Pat's have more TDs than third downs. It's straight breaking at this point
Remember when the one positive we could say about the coach was that the players were playing hard for him? How's that going?
I tried to support Glenn, I was hopeful when he was hired, and through the bad start still talked him up and wanted him to have every chance. But week after week the team is spectacularly unprepared; there’s no accountability or discipline; he’s supposedly a defensive coach and the defense is a joke; in game decisions are laughable. He deserves all the criticism he is getting and should be fired at the end of the season
While, statistically, you may be off a hair but, from the eyeball test, you are spot on. Defense has been the ONE thing the Jets have always been at least presentable. Not this year. In my opinion, the single greatest failure by Glenn considering he's a defensive coach. The entire team should be ashamed.
This is horrifying. Down 21-0 early second quarter it looks as if the Patriots haven't even broken a sweat doing it. At this rate Vrabel will be able to pull his starters late in the second quarter. No doubt the entire second half.
