Good heaven the shit is getting heavy now. I think breaking the curse is as easy or as hard as actually playing winning football.
I didn’t get that info from AI, I got it the old fashion way, from some dumb chick who thinks she can do spells.
Joe caused the curse, so he can not end it. As curses go, they can only be ended after someone deeply affected by the curse dies. Nick's early passing was terrible. But it's possible he ended the curse for us once and for all. Jets win a 39-38 thriller just hours later. If anyone had the strength to end the curse, it would be Nick Mangold. The Curse had ended. Thank You Nick!
If only! Unfortunately, if someone has to die for the “Namath curse” to end it would probably be Joe Willy!
i know you had a point in your post and i agree with it. but answering the question in the title the answer is kill joe namath. im convinced he sold his soul to the devil for superbowl 3 and we have all suffered because of it.
They belong on Long Island. So much space out here. So many places going out of business. Entire Sunrise Mall closed down a major turnpike close by with entrances to major expressways close by. They couldn't build a beautiful new Jets stadium there? The Jets have played in this market for their entire history yet have never had a stadium of their own. How is that possible?
Agree. I am from Hempstead and used to go to Hofstra to watch them practice. They belong back on Long Island.
He tried to get the Jets their own stadium on the West Side. And he could've taken the team to Los Angeles when the NFL was desperate to get back into that market. That's why I hold back when it comes to criticizing Woody. He's not a good owner but he's not the worst completely heartless like the Chargers owner who ripped away the Chargers from San Diego where they were beloved. Or the Rams from St. Louis. Or the Raiders from Oakland. Anything is possible so I can't say it'll never happen. IF it does happen I don't think it will be Woody it'd be the next guy.
It's been a rough year no doubt about it. On the field and off with the Sanchez embarrassment he's lucky to be alive then the loss of Mangold out of nowhere. I'm sure they'll do something very nice for him before & during the Browns game but really they can't make Metlife their own for reasons already stated in the thread by other fans.
