Here's how I see this playing out, Fields shits the bed like usual today and then Cook is playing by the third quarter to finish out the loss. Then Tyrod gets the Browns start. Then the following week it's Brady Cook. The week after that it will be somebody that's not on the team yet and they will have 1 week of preparation.
Great post and exactly my thoughts on the end of year meaningless wins. Of course no players want to lose in order to ensure the team a better pick in the next draft, but that's irrelevant to me as a fan from the early 70's. Those players will most likely be gone and have no allegiance to the team, so IMO I don't care what they want. For pride, they want to win, that's great, means nothing to me. Also correct, as of right now there isn't a Peyton or Luck, but it doesn't mean this team shouldn't want the opportunity to select exactly who they want next spring - the only sure way to do that is draft #1 overall...
I'm bitterly disappointed in Tyrod so far. He hasn't played well when he's been in there. Now he gets injured we're forced to endure another week of Fields.
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! Okay so it was Breece who got 3 TD to Fields's 1, but the Jets will always be the Jets.
