Well it's a good thing the Jets let Rick Speilman steer them in the right direction with all this hiring business Any day now! Here come the wins!
This is the nail in the coffin for me, the end of the half was the worst coached scenario I had ever seen in my life.
Aaron Glenn said the offense took a step back but also said there were some things he liked including how Tanner Engstrand stuck with the plan against a good Broncos defense. — Zack Rosenblatt (@ZackBlatt) October 13, 2025
I posted this in another thread, but it bares merit here as well. Listen to the answer to the question at 6:03
This is really crazy, He was confused whether it was a 1st down or not, so he decided to do ... nothing? I just watched the replay. The ref clearly spotted the ball short of line of 1st down. The ref on the sideline stood with his hand raised about a yard shy of a marker. What was the confusion? Honestly, the only one who was confused was Glenn. Which is why it is very concerning because there are always decisions to be made. Just like a timeout he wasted before. And this does not have to have anything to do with experience either or this decision in particular. Sometimes it's either you have it or you don't. So far I haven't seen it from Glenn. Freeze frame on 0:27. What was the confusion again?
I have no idea what he was talking about with the fake punt. He’s like we were worried about giving them the ball back at the 50 with a timeout so.. we went for it with a fake punt? The only scenario beyond getting a punt blocked or a big return that would’ve given them the ball at the 50?
I’m telling you guys…just like GREAT doesn’t take too long to show up, neither does SUCK. And we are seeing way too many signs on AG that point to SUCK. Way too many I didn’t want him when it was announced and I want him even less now after seeing his “coaching” He’s terrible…that dive before halftime is crazy sauce…continuing go play Fields is crazy sauce The only thing that makes any kind of sense is that he is trying to tank, and if so, he’s doing a fucking great job
You know, there’s something that has also been bugging me…AG calls back to Detroit’s o-fer start way too much..it’s like he’s ok with this…I don’t like it…he should be flaming mad but I just get the feeling he’s pretty much ok with this…his press conference was bad. He looks lost. I have a hard time seeing a turnaround here…maybe I’m wrong and I’ll eat my words down the road, but I’m just not seeing it I do not believe in continuity for the sake of continuity…if he doesn’t show SOMETHING this year I want him gone. So far I can make ZERO arguments for why he’s the right guy and about a hundred arguments why he’s not. It’s not a good look
Im willing to chalk this one up to them knowing Fields cant drive the length of the field, so its worth the shot the KR can
Titans at 1-5 fire the coach. Brian Callahan Fired as Titans HC amid 1-5 Record to Start Cam Ward's Rookie Season
That’s the exact situation you don’t want next year. Allow Glenn to have a hand in picking the high drafted QB in the offseason and then can him halfway through the year because it’s a disaster. Then you stick your next head coach with a high draft pick they didn’t choose.
Good thing for the Jets they only signed Fields to a 2-year deal. Everybody knows the Jets will be picking a QB in Rd 1 in this year draft. I don't know if the Jets move on from Glenn after only one year but whoever they have as the HC will have the opportunity to have his own QB. We know it won't be Fields and Taylor. Tyrod at this point is a decent backup QB at best and not the long-term solution going forward.
no, it was still a dumb topic right after a week 1 loss where a 60 yard field goal was the deciding factor.
Well, that press conference changed my mind. If he's ever to be a head coach he's going to have to start some place like UFL. He doesn't have the constitution right now. At some point you have to ask, "Dude, what did you expect?" He KNEW the shit show he was getting into. The whole league knows the Jets are a mess in the WORST possible media market to be said mess. Seriously? He may just not last the year if it gets a whole lot worse. As I think about it, from a management perspective, the ONLY way Johnson gets out of giving AG at least 2 years is firing him, in season, as a, "we made a mistake and overestimated how AG would handle the pressure of a rebuilding team." If he does that though, he needs to have someone IMMEDIATELY in mind to replace him. This can't be yet another lengthy bullshit coaching hunt and, as I've stated and some have intimated, the Brinks truck is going to HAVE to be backed up and the ENTIRE contents deposited in said new head coaches account. This coach MUST have a LONG winning record. LONG LONG LONG... I also do NOT care if Johnson needs to abdicate every ounce of power he has but whatever it takes. I do NOT want Jon Gruden, let me start right there. That asshole is nothing but a fucking flake who lucked into his Super Bowl. Besides, the game has loooooonnnnggg passed him by. Sorry, it is what it is. What's the next name up. Titans just fired their guy so the heads are beginning to roll.
he is effin delusional...maybe now that they fired the Titans HC he be shown the door. he fooled me... what a stiff and jerk to boot.
