Positives: The defense played pretty well and kept the Broncos to 13 points - enough that most teams would win the game Hardly any penalties and no really stupid ones Punter got lots of practice and got some good punts in Negatives As it was a close game there was no opportunity for 4th quarter garbage time stat padding and we saw the real Jets offense and it was bad It is obvious this season is a write off and that you cannot compete without a decent QB and we will 100% be drafting on in the first round next year (again)
That was by far the worst display of coaching I’ve seen in 50 years. From gameplan to in game decisions that wws pure mickey mouse league. Aaron Glenn and his staff are in way over their heads
We basically had all 50/50 go our way today. Got a fumble. Fumble recovered by them was overturned to inc. Scored on defense. Needed the offense to get 6 points to win, just 6. And still could not get it done.
Well, there's really no other option. It's either draft the next QB in the hopes that they will be a franchise player, stick it out with Fields, or pick up another has been or journeyman and hope they have either a miracle season, or will at least get us 5 or 6 wins.
I don't think so, not with this regime, by far the worst coaching staff, probably ever, Denver served that game on silver platter, and the head disgrace, said not on my watch
We have very little talent on both sides of the ball and if we had any competent leadership we'd be 3-3 or 4-2 if our defense grew a pair. It is really baffling how we manage to still defeat from victory every time.
I would have been fine with a field goal attempt. As soon as this coaching staff went for it on 4th, I knew it was a wrap.
Offer the Browns Hall or a third round or mid round pick for Shedeur. I know that football is about system but Shedeur with zero time in this system can't possibly be any worse than Fields with all offseason, training camp, preseason, and what we've seen so far this season. The Jets should've drafted Shedeur. There are still 11 games left in this season the Jets would have more than enough time to evaluate Shedeur before the 2026 NFL Draft. Worst case we could have our backup QB for the next few seasons.
Also, whey didn't Fields just chuck it downfield on 4th and 8? The team was totally desperate for a 1st down. An interception would not have hurt them at that point.
