I don't really see this being sustainable for the Blue Jay's.

The starter lasted 2 innings and the Jays made 5 diving catches in the first 5 innings. It went off the rails but I didn't see this as some sort of declaration loss.

Plus weaver cemented himself as out of the rotation.

Pitching -should - favor the Yankees now. But not a good time for judge to turn into a pumpkin with bases loaded.

They lose this series or win the world series, but the offense is total fools gold. I've never considered them to be one of the best offenses in the game, and they aren't.

Fried gave up 5 runs that's not acceptable.

But the offense is awful and has not been very good all postseason. It's not because judge doesn't have a home run.

Judge is batting over .400. Yes no home runs and he had one bad at bat in a key situation. I could care less, from a Judge performance perspective, that Guerrero is just killing the yanks. I definitely care from a team perspective.

The whole narrative it's him annoys me. It's the rest of the lineup that's the problem, not the guy batting .400 with a near .500 OBP.

I wonder if we’ll ever see a Yankees team like the Blue Jays or Brewers have assembled where they prioritize contact over simply homers (and strikeouts).

The Yankees struck out almost 400 times more than both of those squads and only struck out less than the Angels and Rockies.

Too many pitches already for Rodon. The late innings are going to be a long adventure as usual then though they’re rested.

Idk why but im incredibly heated watching this game.

Probably because I know the team they are facing are better constructed in the ways we've all complained about for year.

The narrative has pissed me off too. It's judges fault, not the rest of the lineup batting under .200 not the manager, who I usually don't hate totally, that's been a net negative.

Thanks for the 2 plus innings rodon, time to hit the pen.

Just pathetic decision making by Grisham. Enjoy you FA contract elsewhere.

Yankees are built to sell regular season tickets to watch home runs . They are not built for Oct.

A bit nitpicky and I’m not blaming it on effort but Bellinger charged that a bit too cavalier to have a chance to get him at the plate. Money throw though.

    Same shit different year.

    Bad defense
    No contact offense
    Bad starting pitching

Roll it back next year and tell us Cole is our FA acquisition.

Lets keep rodon fucking in the game

Unpopular opinion because he owns Rodon and already mashed a homer against him, but I don’t think you intentionally walk him there.

Not killing Boone for it, but the last thing you want is more base runners.

    next year FA.

bye Grisham. You got his career year he will never get close to that production. He also is one of the no contact/strikeout problems.

For fuck sake, get a contact hitting right handed batter. It's insane the yanks don't really have one. They need 1 that's a high caliber starter at minimum. I think Cashman will get a contact righty to play either the outfield or infield. If he doesn't we are way more screwed than anyone of us can imagine.

Get a real SS, could be another contact right. You can't have both Volpe and McMahon in the lineup everyday, and I pick McMahon because his defense is amazing.

Make Rice a permanent first baseman. Enough of the crap.

I would make Warran and Gil available for trade, but it needs to needs to be for a righty or premium bullpen. I don't have high hopes for either.

Id trade Rodon, but nobody is doing that.

Never will happen, but I would dfa Stanton. He's good 2 months a year and sucks the rest of it. He's the cheerleader of the problems with striking out and contact.

So God damn tired rolling out the same all or nothing approach at the plate. It's a dead approach, you need some contact hitters.
