When I watch games I just jot a couple notes down on my phone when I see some prospects that intrigue me so I’m just going to throw them in here throughout the year.

This is my collection of notes the past month or so.

Jacob Duclona, S, USF - very sure tackler and always around the ball

Graceson Littleton, CB, Texas - great man to man coverage corner.

Robert Henry Jr., RB, UTSA - very shifty and great on draw plays. A ton of burst. Should be a good 3rd down back in the NFL.

Anez Cooper, RG, Miami - monster mauler in the run game. The entire offensive line could be in the NFL.

Reuben Bain Jr. DE Miami - amazing edge and should be a top ten pick

Both VA Tech Greene receivers look like they’re going to be good players. They won’t be able to really showcase with their terrible team and shitty QB though.

Chase Kennedy on Arizona WILL Linebacker - relentless pursuit.

Christian Alliegro on Wisconsin - all around athlete LB. Monster

KC Concepcion WR Aggies and formerly NC State is incredible. Works best in the slot

He’s only up to 6 career catches at this point in the game but this Brody Foley (TE) guy on Tulsa is a bit strong kid with soft hands and a feel for zone in the couple plays I’ve seen.

Kaden Feagon on Illinois is a big ol’ bruising monster at running back. Obviously runs a bit high at 6’3” but Jesus Christ can that big 255 boy run.

JV check out Jalon Kilgore CB/S South Carolina when you get a chance

he is awesome, I'd love him here, always around the ball. I'm not sure if he's a nickel CB or a safety in the NFL so your thoughts would be interesting to me

Haven’t dialed in too much on him but I’ve read a bunch about him. Tweeners at that size make me nervous. His profile almost reads more like a weakside backer, no?

He excels in run defense so I get it but I think it would mistake to try to convert him like Sherwood and others have in this league. He has good ball skills. I would play him at safety myself even though SC uses him as a nickel CB

Francis Mauigoa is a franchise changing guard like Quenton Nelson and Zach Martin both were.

Not going out on a limb here calling him out as a prospect but if you zoom in on him during Miami games he’s absolutely dominant. It’s normally hard to say that about guards at any level.

The whole line is good too. #70 Markell Bell is quite a site to see pulling around on run plays. 6’9” and listed at “340”

Watching Kilgore a bit today and man he’s a tremendous athlete. I think he’s an ideal box strong safety but can be used in coverage and would be a good robber safety. Hard to deny that athleticism and length.

The play he just made as the underneath defender on the deep slot in showed crazy twitch and reaction speed.

he’s an awesome player. There are several awesome college safeties right now which is good cause the Jets need safety help in the worst way next year

The big noon kickoff broadcast highlighted him a lot during the Michigan game but man I’d love to add a guy like #44 Max Brederson to the Jets. He probably won’t get drafted but he’s the perfect TE2/FB hybrid.

Great lead blocker, seals edges and moves linebackers.

Arvell Reese on Ohio State has serious Micah Parsons vibes. If he’s not using uniquely, he’s a complete waste of a pick. He’s probably not a traditional 3-down edge like Micah wasn’t but he can rush the pass rusher like a motherfucker and play off the ball.

Admittedly I didn’t pay much attention to Parsons at Penn State but Reese plays just like him he does in the pros. The kid is everywhere, in on every play and can pressure and sack the QB.

You’d have to take him in the top ten though.

I like a name like Arvell, too.... You know that kid had to stomp some ass in his life! Just like Slaughter...perfect Cleveland Browns linebacker name!! But you just know, growing up with that last name lead to a LOT of people into the nurses office. LOL!

Caden Curry Sr. DE from Ohio State sure jumped out early in this Ohio State - Indiana game & showed up big vs Michigan as well.
Haven't seen his name on draft boards I visit but others say he's possibly late 2nd round. That Dallas Cowboys 2026 2nd round pick could end up at the back half of Round 2.

What do you think of John Mateer JV?

I think I was wrong on both Bo Nix and Jaxson Dart and you look like you were right on both so I tend to trust a lot of your judgement on these guys.

I want Mateer to go back to college and have a full season without a hand surgery he comes back to play 13 days after. He should be a Heisman candidate if he does. He’s definitely a Baker Mayfield style gamer type.

Ya it still pisses me off about Nix. I knew if Sean Payton got him he was going to be really good. I thought he should have won the Heisman over Daniel’s that year. He was lights out good

Mateer for me is a better version of Dart. Very similar with that gamer mentality. He’s been in college for a while I think he needs to come out. The toughness he displayed playing with the broken hand for me is a clear indication he loves the game and you just can’t teach that. Love the zip and tight spiral he throws, the way he makes plays with his feet and his accuracy. I think he will be a value pick and I think he will fall to our cowboys pick.
