Could it be that the FBI is in such disarray that the investigation was hampered in getting off the ground? Targeting some old guy and keeping him locked up for a while simply because he was a wingnut from the left does nothing to raise the confidence level people have in national law enforcement. Kind of strange action when the picture of the shooter was already in the public domain.
I don't know why anyone should have a problem with prayer vigils where people, of their own free will, demonstrate their feelings for the victim. I do have a problem with our government making a spectacle of transporting the remains of a controversial private citizen on a government plane. I also have a major problem with our elected officials taking over the highly partisan podcast of that same controversial figure. Can anyone point to a similar occurrence at any time in our nation's history?

The guy jumping off the roof clearly has a long dark object as he approaches the roof, as he rolls off the roof and drops to the ground and as he gets up and runs across the lawn. No need to tear anything down and reassemble it.

The majority of the extremist murders in the U.S. are committed by radical right wingers, but the president goes on national TV and excuses them, saying they are just people that don't want to see crime but that the radical left are the problem. It 100% is a mess. And it’s mostly due to decisions made over the last 6 months. Knowing people who are involved, it’s quite scary how people were removed / replaced, and why.
The FBI is in shambles by design. They made Patel the director, Patel literally traveled this country for years calling for a dramatic decrease in the FBI’s authority I would think “securing the homeland” so people can speak at a homeland college without getting shot could be a job for Department of Homeland Security. All i can think of is the weight of his actions got to him. It makes zero sense.

He confessed to his parents who essentially turned him in by alerting a retired cop. The gun probably would have gotten him caught. I can't remember if they found it before he was turned in. He said he would rather die than turn himself in. Then confessed to anyone who was around. He's obviously not right in the head, so his actions are hard to quantify.

This also isn’t a free speech issue, Disney is a private employer with clauses in their contracts. Weren’t you just complaining about JD Vance lying? It’s ok if Kimmel does it? Disney ABC had to take him off the air because they were pressured by trumps heavy handed FCC. Kimmel is a comedian making jokes, obviously sarcastic jokes are different than the Vice President lying to the public about something as serious as terrorism
