let’s get real if other teams were really serious about hiring Aaron Glenn as their head coach he woulda went with the other teams as who wants to take their first head coaching job on a team that the owner is known to meddle in every day decisions and a franchise known for losing? And if you want to change the losing tradition this year you win this year, I am not saying make the Super Bowl this but atleast be in the hunt for a playoff spot, Aaron Glenn didn’t inherit the 1-16 jets Aaron Glenn inherited a team with a lot of good young talent and cornerstones to the franchise that were just resigned to big deals, and the way Justin fields looked his first game there is no reason why we can’t atleast be In the hunt for the playoffs if Aaron Glenn can coach a damn. Don’t tell me teams can’t turn over in 1 year from bad to good because it’s happened many times before. Commanders being the latest.

Yes - let's get real. You have absolutely no idea what factored into Glenn's decision but you're apparently disregarding his very successful experience here as a player. Your unsupported insistence that the owner "meddles" in decisions about how his business is operated is patently ridiculous. It's like saying a gas station owner should let the pump jockeys set the price.

If you want to change a losing tradition you do it step by step, methodically and consistently you don't set artificial deadlines to satisfy a few fans who think a sea change can be handled overnight.

yeah he was so giddy about taking the jets job he went to interview with the New Orleans saints as a last ditch effort not to come here as a last resort after being offered the job. And yeah let’s just be content with being mediocre and not making the playoffs for the 15th straight season and hope Aaron Glenn can get his shit together and we can make the playoffs in 3 more years.

Well, I know where the guy is now; that still hasn't seemed to get through to you. You're the one who said he wasn't being pursued which was pure, unadulterated bullshit so feel free to think whatever it is you want to. I don't care.
