It is good (and season 3 is coming next month), but the original books by Tony Hillerman are IMO much better. I've read the first eleven, and am continuing to work my way through them (I don't binge book series - I jump around in genres to keep things interesting). A nice bonus of reading them is that they occur at the time they are written, so these books are giving a very realistic view of what things were like on the reservation in the 1970s and 1980s, rather than one filtered through what people think now what things were like then.
I’ll have to check those out. I’ve passed over this on Netflix so many times , until I was out of series to watch . Glad I finally checked it out
