Brady giving Manning a chance?

I know the Pats were in a bad situation, 24 seconds, 40 yard line, 1 timeout. You think Brady threw that pic to let Manning have his chance? That pic was way too easy.

A lot of things were odd, when the Colts punted with 3 mins to go, I was like game over, but somehow the Pats went conservative and went 3 and out.

In any case I love seeing the Pats lose, the look on their smug faces. Priceless.

I don't think a whole roster full of pros play a game like that to throw it away in the last minute.

I say it was Belichick who gave Manning his chance.
If he let the Colts score right away with over 2 minutes left, Brady would have had twice as much time to make a come back to win the game.
I'm pretty sure I remember the Jets being in a similar situation in the big Monday night comeback against Miami. They let Miami score so they could get the ball back with enough time to score again.

Brady wants to win. There is no way that he threw that pick on purpose. The Colts just out played the Pats in the second half.

In a tie game, I'd agree (chip shot FG), however they were up 3. He was thinking they could hold them to 3...

Odd isnt it, that down late in the game, they get a couple of big calls that helps them get in the EZ... ????

It looked like the NYJ INDY 4th qtr, only worse.

Sure, that's exactly what happened. I'm surprised that none of the media outlets have picked up on your story yet!

Afterwards, they all went back to Bellicheck's hotel suite, baked apple-cinamon muffins, and Brady/Manning sang coombaya together, while looking at picture books of puppies and rainbows.

I didn't see the game, but I'm hearing from a lot of the locals that the refs gave this one to Indy, especially on the non-call for PI in the end zone and the roughing the passer at the end. Any thoughts on this?

Yup. Just like the 4th qtr in the Jets game.

You're right, he should have been more politically correct and went with the land of the mentally challenged threads.

So you make what is probably the dumbest post on this board in recent memory, that Tom Brady just gave up the game to be NICE to Peyton Manning, and expect that you aren't going to catch shit for it?

What is factual is that the Pats receiver got raped in the end zone and there was no call, and a hand glanced off of Manning's helmet in the last drive and a roughing the passer call was made. I certainly thought that both the noncall and the call were ridiculous.

What is hysterically funny is that after years of conspiracy theories that the NFL wanted the Pats to win, now after a couple of bad decisions by referees there's a conspiracy for the Colts to win. How about just that the referees blow calls all the time, and this time it was the Pats' turn to suffer?

He threw a pick on purpose to give Manning a shot at the Superbowl? Heh what? Are you kidding me? What player in ANY sport, all the way to high school, would blow a game for someone else?

Gimmie a break. Brady is a gamer and wants to win at all costs, and would love nothing more to keep Manning from the SB.

guys, this is the playoffs, I mean what kind of team... they must have no class... i mean, they got to be a bunch of idiots...
    ...

hmmm maybe the Pats did throw away the game, but even I doubt they did so on purpose. That is not how they work, especially the game they played for the first half. I think it was just Peyton's/Colts time to win and the Pats time to lose.

This was actually all orchestrated by Belichick. That's why he and Manning shared that quick exchange of words after the game. Wouldn't want to carry the convo on too long, people might get suspicious. >_>
