Yeah - that was a pick 2 years ago purely to try and nab the first to go bonus. He’s been hanging on for quite some time.
I just wanted to post here about what I feel are some really inconsiderate people. Here we are waiting for them to die and we haven't had any one of them kick it in what feels like months. I mean seriously, you know your life cycle is about to come to an end, why screw up my death pool just so you can hang on a few more weeks. Guaranteed if I cut one of you underperforming fuckers at the start of next season, you'll kick the next week. Sorry, just needed to vent about these people that refuse to let go. C'mon man.
Counting down the days here. I believe I would be back-to-back death pool champ maybe Brook! Could give me a tag of grim reaper or something cool instead of “well-known member”
Only 11 days and a few hours left but quite a few immortally challenged are circling the drain and @BrowningNagle all but guaranteed a late hit, by another contestant, to knock him off the top, by claiming victory before all the body bags are counted. The winner will be crowned Jan 1st, and we will immediately jump into the 2025 version of the Perpetual Death Pool. Same rules apply, we will restart the draft order where you can replace your correct 2024 hits and any other picks you choose. Anyone not in the pool that would like to join could be added to the draft rotation. First hit of the new year still gets bonus points. Since we already have a full team of picks any deaths of current picks would count unlike when we started last year where the rule was none count until the draft is done. I'm thinking we will make the draft order start with the lowest scores from 2024, those with no points we will go alphabetically. Snake draft as always and you can replace one, none or all of your picks.
I'm gonna be taking a break from it this year, I'll release my roster into genpop on the first of the year. May they all live forever, or at least until 2026.
