I’m all for giving a past failure a retry. Sometimes, failure is the best teacher. The question is, we’ve had so many failures which one do we choose?

Damn, some of you are really scarred and tortured souls. So many horrible names and retreads being thrown out here.

Do you want the Jets to go another decade without a playoff appearance? Because that's exactly what you're advocating for with all these retreads and past failures.

They need a guy preferably with recent success in their background. This should be the first criteria above all else. That should filter out about 95% of the names being discussed on here.

The team needs a coach like Flores atleast for a couple years, the guy is all about discipline something the Jets rank last in the league in, if you don't make him your head coach than pay him a ton of money to be on this staff.

I mean the Woody's are so deseperate they are reverting back to former coaches who sucked ass here, why not interview Gase while your at it. The Jets need proven coaches at these point like Vrabel instead they are going back to coaches who failed here, this is a joke and a slap in the face to us Jets fans.

Gruden would be the most successful, or I suppose Mccarthy but no thanks to him.

I would definitely want to talk to him if I were running the search.

No chance he'd even take the phone call, though.

I say Jon Gruden is the best candidate by far. Forget the baggage in the last few years and give this guy the keys to run this show.

Gruden would be terrible. His offenses in Vegas were well below average (24th overall over the course of his second stint there) and his eye for talent in his second go around was abysmal.

Why would he leave a team that is 9-2 and headed for the playoffs to take a non-promotion with this dumpster fire?

He was good 20 years ago. He's nothing more than image now.

The guy that Woody fired because they drafted a shitty QB, comes back as HC?... I'm sure that'll happen

Gruden took Hackenberg off the Jets hands. We owe him.

Welp Eberflus should be available. Jets could definitely improve their clock management bringing him in.
